I mean, this is nothing new, there are some scammers in those companies who are worse, I remember seeing a video of how one of them was quite... Forward about "Things" to a little girl who wanted to get her laptop fixed. There's a small number of them who are in these companies to simply feed their families, but a good chunk of them who are in there do it for both the money and simply because it's what they want. OF course not everyone knows that...why do you think scammers target the elderly?
@combatduckie3 жыл бұрын
@@Ms_Tania i think it s even worse, they go for the elerlies who are slightly impaired/demented and thus vulnerabl, because i m over 60 and know a lot of women in their 80s and none of them would ever fall for such scams! It s only impaired people, which makes it even more disgusting, as said...
@ashleywalker38133 жыл бұрын
@@combatduckie they get a lot of them, but there are also enough generally not financially /tech literate people who fall for it. The fraud/hacker ones create that sense of urgency and fear to get people to comply without thinking too much.

These pieces of garbage pretending to be her bank! I work in fraud, and I had 3 people fall for this exact same scam today. One lady spent 2000 dollars and gave them the gift card numbers! I don't know if the banks even reimburse for this, since she did it. Makes me so mad. She was crying and crying. We need banks to send out push notifications about scams, or something more needs to be done to stop this!
