Great video. Quick question, I have a Ubiquiti Wifi booster system in the house so the ethernet feed goes from the inbound router into a power supply (I assume a booster and to passively power the wifi-booster in the other room). So I took two feeds from the router, put it in the GizmoVine splitter, then into the power supply/booster, then (in the other room) back into a splitter and then into a Sky Q box and the original Ubiquity Wifi. But only the sky Q works (not the wifi-booster). Do you think the splitter is possibly interfering with the power supply to the Ubiquiti?

I am thinking about purchasing this or something similar. Im aware that i will lose some speed but the situation i have is: i live in a relatively large house and unfortunately i cannot run a cable from my room to the router without pissing off the parents due to the fact the router is on the other side of the house. I do have a WiFi extender with an ethernet cable running to my pc but the extender only has one ethernet port but i need a second as i have multiple devices. Would something like this work or is there a different method? Great video ! found it really informative. =)

Why wouldn’t you just plug 1 ethernet cable from the router into the splitter, then split it to 2 cables for the 2 devices? Why are you using 2 splitters???🤦🏻‍♂️🤔

can you also use it to split your connection? like if 1 device is on alle the speed goes to that device and if there are 2 devices on it gets split EDIT: like, without 2 cables going to the router?

Will the Ethernet splitter work on two connections. For example, I work from home and also in school online. I normally work on both at the same time. I need to be hardwired to both. On my work computer, I have a docking station to connect to my job that's connected to the Internet router. I want to use the splitter on the main internet box to connect to the other PC. I will be using two different websites. Will it work with both of my PC on doing different takes? I hope I explained this right.

I have virgin internet and I have 5 some times 6 people connected at the same time you can have hundreds of people connected to your internet depending on how fast it is and how many connections you have plus you can wifi connection as well. Are you talking about home internet or mobile phone inter? Mobile phone internet is only really meant for one person home internet as meant for the whole family depending on your package you have.
