Thanks for the deets! I don’t suck but I am impatient. But for special occasions, worth the time. I have wonky wavy hair naturally and fight the frizz. Blowing it straight is faster for me. But..One of my favorite stylists about 15years ago gave me her flat iron as she was ready to upgrade to a new one (I think I was one of her best tippers! 😊 actually we had a bond but then she moved far away 😢). But I still have it! She showed me techniques how to enhance my wave so it was and shiny back then. Love the modern ends with this updated look. I barely have any evidence of an occipital bone so a wave helps hide that Neanderthal look. My mom must have never turned me on my side as an infant. lol

Before I cut 12” of my hair off into a bob it was very easy to wave. Of course when I tried the same technique on my short hair I thought it looked awful because those straighter ends that look great on longer hair were not so cute on my shorter hair. I’ve been struggling on how to style it so I just blow it out straight and it looks good enough. I can’t wait till it grows out to a shoulder length blunt bob so I can do more with it 😫☹️

Cool going to try this as never got the hang on waving with a flat iron. Someone said the difference between hair spray and texture spray is that hair spray combs out and texture spray stays put in the hair and may need washing out, so pretty much similar to what you said I think.
@rebbeccapeabody7752 Жыл бұрын
Texture spray is amazing! I put it in after I’ve curled my hair but before I’ve combed. I just run my hands through as I’m spraying and my hair comes alive and is much fuller. AIIR has a texture spray that is great and lasts a long time. Hair spray is then like a finishing touch. As far as I’m concerned that is…not an expert. Can’t be without texture spray. Oh and I only use it after washing. I haven’t tried it on like second or third day hair 🤔
@GlamGirlGabi Жыл бұрын
Yes I would agree with that regarding hair spray and texture spray. Texture spray is my absolute favourite product for short hair but it doesn't "sleep well". It just doesn't. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
@demetevans7249 Жыл бұрын
@@GlamGirlGabi Yea for the reason texture spray stays put in the hair is it's strong point as well as weak I guess, depending on how far away wash day is as you said. Whatever hairspray I try for volume just doesn't stand up the whole day or even a few hours tbh, I don't bother with it anymore it's pants haha!
