We flew from CA to Boston, rented a van and drove to all the New England. My husband was born in Hartford CT, but was a military brat. So we wanted our kids to see the area.So fo12 days we traveled New England. Our kids were 14, 10 and 19 mos.Since my husband is from the area, we stayed w/relatives, also hotels. A fun time. On our last day, we drove to Boston to fly home, but, the flight didn't leave till 3 pm and we were looking to fill in the hrs. We drove by the JFK Museum, and made a turn around! What a neat educational place to visit. I actually saw JFK as a young child, but, I remember it vividly.

My great grandfather was the first game warden for New Hampshire. His job was to catch porcher on top of Mount Washington.

Guys you have just barely scratched the surface of New Hampshire there is so much to do and see. You had a stunner of a day on Mt Washington, epic views. I love the B-roll through the Manchester mill yard on 293, coming down the hill into Meredith, NH, I have live on the west side of Manchester and spent my childhood summers up in Moultonborough on Lake Winni, I know that drive through Center Harbor and Meredith so well.

It was so cool when you videoed Mount Washington. Memories come back to mind as we visited there maybe 10 years ago. I appreciate you taking us with you on your adventures.

The Whites are one of my favorite destinations in the NE. I hiked the entirety of the Presidential Range a few years ago, so I didn’t get the sticker. The experience was 1 in a million all on its own. I’m so glad you had the opportunity to visit Mt Washington. It truly is breathtaking. Huttopia? That looks awesome! I may need to check that out, in lieu of my RV. And I see it’s pet-friendly!!! I’m so excited!!

We stayed at Thousand Trails Moody Beach in Maine. We were so looking forward to going to Mt Washington until we looked it up & found out it was $71!!! At the time gas was over $5 gallon so it was going to be around $150 just to drive up a mountain. We are so happy that we were able to experience it through your video! THANKS Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondack mountains is beautiful too. It used to be free to drive all the way to the top but now they unfortunately have copied Mt Washington.

We were definitely sticker shocked. I don't know why I didn't look up prices first but by the time we arrived there was no point in turning around. It was very beautiful and we felt it was worth it in the end although a little annoyed that they tourist gouged. Sad we missed the Adirondack mts.

@@NoOrdinaryPath The fact that it's government charging that much is not right. If it was a private government than charge whatever you want. I'm happy we are not the only ones that thought it was gouging.

$71 to drive over Mt Washington. That's like $100 in Canada 🇨🇦. What a deal you got 👌.

Idk. It was surprising and honestly the guy at the gate was not too friendly about it. Luckily others were nice but he basically told us we were welcome to turn around and leave after John questioned the amount. 🤨
