Sandwitch cat in space I very much am one. But that's good for me because 79% of women say they would go out with a nerd. Plus, nerds and geeks are becoming ever so popular. The first comic-con only had 30 people attend while the 2015 comic-con in NYC had oer 3,000,000 people attend. So it looks like I'm doing better.

Very pretty, but the base is so wide that it is only practical for wine consumed same-day, because unless you keep it topped off into the neck, anything within will begin degrading from oxygen due to the large internal surface area. For that reason, wide squat decanters are for table service of vintage wine (the wide bowl helps them breathe/de-gas SO2 faster), and tall slender ones are for storing stront/blended spirits.

@dbrooke1129 Did I say he did the art shows after high school? He did the art show circuit for several years after college. Then after years of selling out at art shows they bought the building. He designed the studio and installed all the studio equipment himself (saving much money). I'd say he has mastered that form, not to mention the detail he has put into them. They are way more complex than those bulb mini sculpters that in the videos that you have posted.

You don't need to clean it. Usually a bottle like that is is ed for a brandy or some sort of liquor which is anti bacterial.
@MyGuruLife
@MyGuruLife 10 жыл бұрын
Leigh Kuglin Anti bacterial? Only somewhat, and you have to clean it when you change the liquor to prevent the flavor from the previous batch to have an effect on what you put into it the second time you fill it up.

i dont know where you're working then but sign me up, i work at a studio with an electric furnace and a small glory hole and overnight annealing, hourly cost to run it it about 57 dollars an hour. if you throw in color and other supplies more. enmufti

Nice skills for sure! The talent is in the eyes and seeing the details steps ahead. How difficult is it to get started in this field? Where I'm at there aren't conventional schools for it, (or reputable enough not to scam the students). Heck I'd intern if you had that ability or program. But awesome work!

+Natalie Guzman The process is called "marvering." My understanding is that it smooths the finish of the glass and helps them control its shape.

Why was I so intrigued?
@TerryPagel
@TerryPagel 9 жыл бұрын
If you marver less (none) when dropping out your neck - before the mould heat, you can get better optics. That way you can have plenty of latent heat to marver after the mould, thereby setting your optics in a way aluminum can't. Bulge up when blowing out that neck like a blown foot, too. Good job all around, though I would like to see some lift from the base to the shoulder.
