The numbers printed on the glasses are as follows (in mm): first number is lens width, 2nd is bridge width (distance between lenses on your nose), and 3rd is temple arm length from screw to the end of the arm behind your ears. That first number is super helpful but the glasses still might not work depending on how the lenses are set in the frame around your nose and temples and over your cheeks. I really wish they'd give us frame width (temple to temple) and lens height (top of lens to bottom) too! For progressives, I understand a height of at least 30 is required.

I have a petite face, too! I have been wearing Lucky Brand, 1 pair in Adult 47 & another in Child (arms are a tiny bit shorter). Want newer frames, esp for greyer/cooler toned.

I order from health catalogues fit over sunglasses, they are actual sunglasses you put right over your glasses they come in black, brown, and you can get yellow for night driving. They are also 100 spf. Most times they’re stylish.

Thanks for this video. I was looking for a video exactly about this topic. And I am going for the grey frames. I have black and love them. So next is the grey. Went today and triedvon some magentavred that turns to blush pink at bottom. I would never have tried red before but I lovedcthem but size was 53 my current glasses are 51, so disappointed. But they are a bit cat eye, so I think I will go back and try them on again, with a friend maybe for second opinion! They are Alex Perry pricy so want to be sure!

What about the shape or size downwards,I.e. Or length wise. The shape towards your cheekbones. How low..... I got new glasses recently and the lady at the optometrist office thought they suited me well. I am now disappointed and think they are too big. I do not get compliments,so think I was right. It was not a good choice. Prescription lenses and frame quite costly! I wish I could add a picture for your expert eye?

the pupillary distance is the number you are looking for. Make a dot on the cheek below each pupil up, looking up close and then, look at distance, and have somebody do the dot for you, and you will get the real number. Usually the near vision PD has about 3 mm less than the distance number. When buying bifocals, by the distance PD. When buying readers, you need the near PD number.

I have to wear children's. Adolescents is to large. I end up with wrong colors because must look like cartoon character's.
