The original of You Keep Me Hangin' On was by The Supremes. A big hit, Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wonderful, and better than the Glee or any other version. There are some Glee songs that I like better than the originals, but not that one. Diana Ross' voice is extraordinary, of course, and if you don't know their music, please check out their long string of hit songs (not to mention Martha and the Vandellas and other fantastic girl groups from that era). The Glee version of Girl on Fire is FAR superior to the original.

It´s all right to say about your opinions, I respect them. But I didn´t say that I don´t like the original version, I do. I just prefer the glee version, that´s it. The performance and the music is different and I kind like that. :)

Of that song is "You keep me hanging on." That girl was not the original singer who sang that song? When a song is kind of old, glee always makes it more vocal and makes the song more rhythmic, and sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. By the way I really like Quinn’s voice and I don’t understand why some people don't.

I do think You keep hangin' on OG is better because of the vocals, that song isn't really appropriate for Quinn's voice, but still good. I think the OG Paradise by the dashboard light is better too, but i get why people like the glee cover more. Quinn is not better than Jackson 5 by a long shot, but her version of Never can say goodbye was more rythmic and her soft voice really suits the song, i don't think it's better than the original tho.This an unpopular opinion: i don't really like the Warblers, i think most of their performances are robotic and boring so agree on that
