He felt super bad about it + even came clean to Will!! He could've kept it secret like Emma wanted but he didn't bc he wanted to be honest. Finn has just graduated and is obv going through a tough time, Will knows Finn and Will is A TEACHER... A GROWN MAN... and still reacted super immature, bossing Finn around, picking on him, but why even?? Finn even said the kiss didn't mean anything, he just wanted to calm down Emma. Of course it wasn't okay to kiss her, but Will was completely overreacting, as always, completely immature and self-centered and in denial over the fact that he's the one who caused all these panic attacks by not helping Emma, making her do all plannings on her own even while knowing how bad her OCD is under pressure. I can't believe someone like Will is even a teacher, he's such a whiny, immature brat. What a joke.

Holding your breath, or in this case, kissing someone, is a pretty good way to end an anxiety attack or stop the intense feeling of panic. Finn did what anyone would do in this situation: do what he has to do to help Emma. Although it was wrong to kiss her, it was for the better.

Miss Rhossel no, I’m sorry. I have OCD and holding your breath is NOT a good way to stop a panic attack at all. You are actually supposed to take slow deep breaths, holding it will make things worse. Also when you are having a panic attack your body is in Flight mode. You DO NOT want to be touched. If someone tried to kiss me while I was panicking, then I’d probably punch them from all the adrenaline I feel. If you see someone with OCD panicking, give them space. Let them get the adrenaline out on their own, and don’t interfere.

It’s old and done, but I NEED to give my 2 cents. I think Finn, while wrong in what he did, it is justifiable for me. When I first watched this scene I was thinking that Emma needed her fiancé to reassure her with love. I felt this was the kind of situation where a lover should’ve comforted the other, but Finn was there instead of Schuester. This panic attack was for 2 lovers to deal with, but 1 of them isn’t there. I don’t know if this makes sense but that’s my 2 cents.

I like how everyone is trying to rationalise this, as if it isn’t the most uncomfortable glee kiss, by far. You see, earlier in that episode Finn was kinda going into how Mr. Schue is so lucky to have her, so this is just sexual harassment and calling it something else is denying Emmas reality. Take in consideration that she doesn’t know Finns “side of the story” and that later in that episode she told him to leave the door wide open, implying that being alone with Finn is uncomfortable for her. It would be uncomfortable for everyone, but Emmas OCD and the way she handles intimacy adds another layer of boundary violation to this. Now we can move on to the ranting part, like why did Finn even do that, you can’t tell me that Rachel had similar anxiety attacks, this definitely isn’t a reflex this is like some creepy Oedipus mini crush.
