That with Finn was always unrealistic for me because she was totally superior to Finn. And it is not clear whether Puck is still her boyfriend / man in the last episode.

ND won/tied in season 2 sectionals because Valerie featured lead vocals from Santana who is the most charismatic and alluring performer out of everyone in ND and they finally featured Mike and Brittany's dance abilities together. Mike and Brittany are a super-winning combination because when they danced together, they lit up the stage like crazy. Between Mike, Brittany, and Santana, there was a ton of energy, charisma and showmanship, not to mention amazing chemistry between the 3 of them. It was IMO far more interesting than the numbers that featured Rachel and Finn as lead vocals. I wish the show had Mike, Brittany, and Santana perform together more often (some fans refer to them as a Biketana threesome). But I guess that wasn't allowed since they can't upstage the starring characters.

True but the choreography wasn't as show-stopping as Valerie. Probably because the other members of ND had to be able to follow along. They tried to disguise the poor dancing behind Mike (save for Dianna and Jenna) with a lot of quick editing cuts but that also took away from Mike's performance as well. What my original comment was referring to was letting both Mike and Brittany (together) let loose with challenging choreography and highlighting that.

Actually, I think Rachel (really, Ryan Murphy) chose Finn (Cory) to sing with because his voice was so subpart compared to hers. It made her (Lea) stand out more. Maybe Rachel didn't think this way, but the producers definitely did because if it was about both the female and male parts, they would have paired Rachel with Jesse or Puck or Artie. But because it was all about Lea, they wanted a voice that would complement hers, but never risk outshining hers

For Rachel to have no faith in the talents of her entire Glee club minus Finn who she had the hots for was ridiculous. To basically say they are only good enough to be her backup and for Will to cosign that for so many years was an abomination. That entire club should have walked out and seen if the three of them could have competed alone. The thing I hated most about Rachel's character is that she always talked about knowing she was the best, but when competition showed up all of her insecurities showed up. It's why she couldn't root for anyone else ever. When Sunshine Corazon showed up and auditioned the entire Glee club went crazy while she was singing and Rachel and Finn stood there in fear. Say what you want about Mercedes or Santana but they cheered on good talent and still thought they were good enough to share the stage with anybody you put up there. Rachel had an amazing voice, and she could put on a Broadway performance better than anyone there, but this was a show choir not a Broadway production. Each of their styles were valuable, whether it be Santana's more pop sounding voice or Mercedes bringing the soul,or Quinn giving u sweet and demure. Each had a place in a show choir,not just little ms. Broadway. Besides, it was a little bit of karma for cheating Santana and Mercedes out of that duets win. That one came back to bite them in the butt.

That show the little of your mind and sorry to say, but take out the serious of your argument to the floor. Hard to take someone seriously when is seem to care very little to objectivity and morality. I actually, prefer people who assume the fact that Santana is one of the worst character who ever existed, don't make excuses for her bad behavior and assume to love her anyway. Nothing wrong with that (i do love her character very much, she is hilarious), she is just a character and had a role ti fullfill but i will never took her as a role model. Even the way she handle her struggle was wrong (poor Brittany). I said that as a lesbian. I enjoy her but she is awful. Like actually, everyone of the glee character. They are satiric character, that why they are. None of them are good, even Brittany said and did pretty discutable thing and get forgiven because she is naive (and i found it way too easy). They are bad, thats what made the show enjoyable. But in this scene, Rachel was the least bad of them all and yet, get the most of the hate. People take themeself wayy too seriously.

I seriously don't know why people stayed in this Glee club for this long. It's one thing to earn your solos or leads or whatever, but if there is a clear favoritism shown by the teacher to specific students that only they to get to stretch their wings and shine, why would anyone stay? Not to mention that the few times the teacher decides to *let* other people shine for once, the favorite students sit there and declare that you're not good enough and they're better than you, why would anyone stay? Why sit there and be ignored and then told you're not good enough? How does that foster a love for the theater? I'm not saying everyone shouldn't try or earn their successes, but why can't the other students get equal treatment
