Thank you for showing the world how beautiful this country is. I’m so pleased that you are enjoying our county. There are a lot of grateful moments like this when you live here. Even though I have lived here my whole life apart from a few years in Australia, I am still blown away time and time again at the beauty offered here and you never take it for granted. I feel so blessed to call this place home. “Gods own” is a saying that we call New Zealand and I believe it to be true. I travelled a lot and been to many countries around the world and sure each country has its own beautiful places, but I don’t think any other place in the world has the the extremes as we do, from snowy mountains to tropical beaches, vast green pastures, stinky volcanic mud pools, crystal clear rivers, rain forests, wild, barren, wind swept coast lines, all untouched by pollution and masses of people, bird song, quietness , safe with no treat of being attacked by a snake or bear lol. It’s a very healing place. It’s somewhere where you need to take your time, go off the beaten track and away from the tourist spots to really soak up what New Zealand is all about. ❤

i've been to Wanaka so many times I can't count but have never been up Roy's Peak (too busy skiing)... those views are AMAZING... you do get similar views from Treble Cone but not on that scale

I went up Roy’s Peak (aka Mt Roy) back in the May School holidays in 1983. I was fortunate it enough to have relatives that lived nearby to stay. Back then there were far fewer tourists so I didn’t encounter many people on the ascent/descent.

I would not be able to get up Roys Peak now but we just had a few days in Wanaka and it was wonderful. We did see all the cars parked below Roy's Peak though... enjoy all of these steep walks while you can and I will continue to enjoy the walks I am able to do :)

I hear Glen saying: Keep moving the Body. (It's the blood that keeps the body moving. Should play the song by A-HA, Blood that moves the body). Another awesome and exploring adventures and also to just listen to the sound in the distance, So quite and still. Perfect start to the day. Happieness is: Watching your videos. Would I be able to make it to the top on my mobility scooter with standard road tires or would you suggest swopping for mud grips and maybe brake upgrade ? Thx in advance . Uncle Bob

Over rated Tourist walk on a farm track , is plenty of other walks around Wanaka with just as good views and hardly anybody on the tracks

At this point I think we're being trolled with "sheeps". These two know one sheep and ten sheep use the same noun, no plural.
