Eagles bassist Timothy B Schmit on acoustic guitar dedicates Peaceful Easy Feeling in memory of Glenn Frey on the second anniversary of the passing of Eagles co-founder. "Peaceful Easy Feeling" was written by Jack Tempchin. Glenn Frey sang lead on the Eagles' debut album in 1972. He died in January 2016.

Timothy B. Schmit opened up about bandmate Glenn Frey dying in an August 2016 interview with Rolling Stone. "He's dead. It's unbelievable," he says. "It didn't happen that long ago. Everybody is still processing it. But part of processing it is carrying on."
"[The Eagles] haven't done anything since he passed," Schmit continues. "Nobody's really doing his songs unless there's a tribute show once in a while. But I do hear it on the radio. I stopped thinking about it every day, but I think about this whole thing often. When you started talking about it, I was startled to the fact that he's really gone."

At any level that you love someone whether that person be a family member, a close friend, a college buddy that u kept in touch with🕊️. No matter what position they held in your heart ❤️ what they did for you and what you gave each other AKA called extreme love for one another,. cannot be replaced And then one day 💔💔 you find out that one of the members of your band dies. I don't think there's was much thought into the emotional part of what that person meant to you, but when he dies apart of your heart goes with him 💔 the Eagles have been on and off together for close to fifty years 💋 Like all relationship they had their ups and Downs but they all had the utmost respect for the contribution that each member brought to the group called the Eagles. I would also like to send my prayers and condolences to the family of ❤️ Glenn Frey 💯🕊️👋✨ he did an incredible job as a musician👋 a husband and father as well 👋 Glenn you'll be missed by a lot of people 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️ are you truly were a class act ✨

I agree with all the comments that Timothy B Schmit is a class act and a very kind soul. I also saw him with Poco many years ago and his soaring harmonies were a big part of that group's magic. He has also added the same great harmonies to the Eagles, even till today. Saw him at a solo show in NYC (at BB King's) about 10 years ago and he was excellent.
