I remember that. Paul made a call - at one point I think he said it would cost $250,000 to play two lines of a song IF they got permission. It was a funny interaction. Dave was not letting it go and Paul looked like he knew what was up. Don Henley is famously litigious, even here on YT.

Joe Walsh was wasted. Glenn and Don were just a-holes. Go find the documentary History of the Eagles. The first half that goes up until 1980 is the best documentary of any band whether you loved the or hated them.
