This is the most fascinating interviews I've ever heard. My only regret is that my sweet husband who died in 2004 isn't here to share it with me. Reading together and talking about issues of justice was the most beautiful thing we did together. He would have loved this because he cared about all the things you talk about. He was so caring and kind. He was 54 when he died.

I live in Brazil too, in São Paulo, and everything Greenwald says here is spot on. Also, what he says about living here as opposed to the US. You can definitely distance yourself from what is considered the norm there like bombing countries and the threat of going to war. Brasil has many problems, but that’s certainly not the norm here or in other countries as well. You really can see how abnormal the US is in so many ways.

I used to think Greenwald was a true journalist but I think he lost himself. He lost his objectivity and veracity, specifically in the case where he got together with hackers n Brazil and published information from the private phone of a Brazilian Federal judge. It is a crime in Brazil to hack private phones, something he criticized on the Snowden case, when he brought attention the NSA was doing it, but Greenwald believe he Greenwald can do it. All he has to do is to say "I am a journalist" to get away with crime. He became a militant because he was trying to defend a left wing politician by doing something illegal. When you become too partial, you lose your objectivity and is no longer a journalist. He used to criticize American journalists for getting too close with soldiers in the Iraq war. Well he got too close with some Brazilian politicians. My opinion is that he became an agent of disinformation.

So Glenn Greenwald and company succeed where ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSN, CNN, NY Times, and The Washington Post combined fail. This interview is 9 months old, and 9 months ago you can see why they are on to something the rest aren't; that is "consistent journalism". The "News" is NOT about consistent journalism. 90% of what this interview is about is correct in my mind, and bare in mind, I don't like it. When Greenwald says he'll go to Tucker Carlson to use it as a platform; well that is the only reason I have been listening to this and other interviews of theirs. I would have never knew or listened to Hasan Piker until he was mentioned here, so I did that, so Greenwald is right on a level ideologues don't even realize. If you align to political party and won't hear what he has to say, it could be because you unquestioning worship the dictates of a political party, it's political leaders, and it's crony press. If you will be a smarter citizen of the world, you have hold your own ideals accountable first.

A big thing for me is I have a neurology that points me out as a very strange person to most and the things that glenn is speaking right now are the things that I would support any time but just let me say these things are obvious I have my own belief system that wins out at every turn of the coin.
