Oh………there are many of us out here who think the way Mr. Loury does. To start, there is Thomas Sowell and Shelby Steele the elders of black conservatism, whom I have been reading for many decades now. Currently, the newest person I’m now following who also shares my ideology is Jason Whitlock. He has a nightly show called Fearless on KZbin. (on The Blaze) His show also features others who too have the same thoughts as Mr. Loury and I. Oh, I totally forgot about John McWhorter. He and Mr. Loury have a daily show on KZbin as well. Then of course, there are the “non academics intellectuals” or norms who daily make there points of view clear on how they feel about the left and the black experience in this country. I am part of a black conservative FB group. We are being watched just like all of the other conservative FB pages. Again, there are a lot of us out here.

THAT is what a person of integrity would do, but Loury did nothing of the kind. ************* Should Trump Get His Twitter Account Back? | Glenn Loury & John McWhorter | The Glenn Show: You're such a hypocrite, Glenn. You once called my writing "brilliant" and you were "blown away" by my site and signed up. But the second I took your hero to task, you cried foul and crawled under a rock rather than show some guts and address the arguments on the merits. "I have no idea what you’re talking about": What part of “WMD,” “biggest and most costly lie in modern history,” and “most world-altering topic of our time” - do you not understand? Perhaps an inquiry or two for clarification was in order? For over a year, I've been treated like shit by everyone in these kiss-ass communities who have nothing to offer but empty praise and ridicule. When I tried to tell you about the behavior of your precious following, you bounced me off your substack -- and now you sit there on your high horse talking about freedom of speech. I was wrong to think so highly of you at one time. I was looking for the Loury of 1984 -- what happened to THAT guy? THIS embodies your creation -- congratulations: There is no amount of gain you could give me to believe something to be true that is false. When warranted, I will defend those I despise and call out those I like. I call a spade a spade, period. The disciples of Thomas Sowell have no such notion. His kind fabricated this fantasyland where they follow the facts wherever they go. Your record is who you are - not what you believe. His army of apologists are gutless in the face of facts they don’t like - disguised by their goose-stepping glory in the "Facts Over Feelings" Parade. Exactly. Dr. King said that people should be judged by character rather than color, and while the left routinely accuses the right of racism, they are the ones today saying that people should be defined by color, which is literally where racism comes from in the first place. To put it another way, trying to fight racism by focusing on race is like trying to quit smoking by focusing on cigarettes. It will take reasonable black leaders like Loury, McWhorter and Sowell to lead America to a truly post-racial future.

And that's precisely why you won't see this on MSNBC. The last thing they want is for their audience to question what's being sold to them. They'd rather follow the FNC model of cloistering their audience into their own silo and feeding them fresh red meat that validates their preconceived notions. We're better off unplugging the TV.
@hotwax93762 жыл бұрын
@@briane173 Uh-huh. Jeff Zucker turned MSNBC into Fox News for leftists and has done the same thing to CNN now, only this time on steroids. We no longer have a news media, but a propaganda media that cherry-picks facts to fit a certain narrative and/or increase ratings. It's frighteningly similar to what news was like in the former Soviet Union. And while that narrative usually fits a leftist (or at least liberal) narrative, outlets on the right like Fox News are just as guilty of it. FNC was Trump's biggest cheerleader on TV outside of OAN, and in doing so they helped create the climate that has allowed these woke leftist/Marxist dolts to flourish. (That's one reason why I, as a right-leaning individual, wish that Trump had lost to Hillary Clinton; the leftists saw Trump's election as proof that America is an inherently and irredeemably racist, oppressive and evil country and have been pushing that narrative ever since.)

@briane1732 жыл бұрын
Who needs critical thinking when you can profit politically from resentment and fear? It's a formula as old as Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Race is the last tool the left has in their toolbox to finally, once and for all, collapse this republic and transform it _and_ its wealth into a socialist utopia with the woke in charge. And it's being couched in terms that NON-black and brown people trip over themselves trying to run away from -- until the backlash starts and effectively creates a self-fulfilling prophecy. Which I contend is the _point_ of this dog-and-pony show. Where I think it will end is essentially what is beginning to happen presently, and that's when the left overreaches -- which they are predisposed to doing. It's as obvious and predictable as the sunrise: "We know that when the people get a grip on what we're doing it will be stricken down, so we must strike while the iron is hot -- take what we can while we can before November 2022 when it all comes crumbling down around us." There's an old aphorism that communism is socialism in a hurry; that is no more evident than in this present time.

The Black American Homeland vs The Republic of New Afrika What distinguishes Negro Liberation (1948) by Harry Haywood and the Republic of New Afrika from the Black Paper: Black American Homeland (2012) by Frederick Delk is their different approaches to Black American autonomy. The former advocated for a completely independent Black American nation, while the latter proposes creating a Super Majority Black Region of States within existing USA federalist framework and the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution. The Black Paper argues that the 50 U.S. states already possess all the attributes of an Independent country, making full secession unnecessary at this time. Instead, it suggests that 50 million Black Americans consolidate 80% of their population into the 8 States Southern Region (NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, LA, AR, TN) to obtain Super Majority Population and Political Control over these States. This approach is fully legal and constitutional, as Black Americans, like all U.S. citizens, have the fundamental right to move freely from one State to another. If they attain super majority status of the population, votes and representation within the 8 States Southern Region, they would legally control the voting power, representation, critical infrastructure, and governance in these states. Through their own Black American Political Party, they could control and manage State institutions, State Budgets, influence the economy, and territory-land within the region, exercising all constitutional powers within those states. What speak another unspeakable truth... The success of black people today is a direct result of living in a white society. There is no such thing as a black nation that has built anything remotely close to the Europeans. White children in America are already now a minority and the adults will be in a minority in 20 to 25 years. As the white population continues to decline in the percentage of the total population in America, non whites will become more influential in culture and politics resulting in the same failed nations of non white's ancestry. So, as much as white conservatives listening to Glenn think that all these successes are simply a result of the Enlightenment and American constitutionalism, they need to open their eyes to the reality of race.
