This music is amazing , my father had love it AND me too , and really it is Wonderfol I enjoy listening AND watching it because I remember to my dad, AND I think that it was the beginning of the rock AND roll , with Elvis Presley began to have a lot of succeses and the Beatles too, I enjoy so much listening AND watching them any time because they make feel young again, AND though my brothers always are fighting with me I do not mind I follow listening them, please forgive me if I have wrong speelling because I know that I have a lot of mistakes

I like listening to school bands, but there's nothing like hearing the pros blow! Like comparing a bicycle to a Ferrari. NIce to know that Mr. Miller's legacy still lives on. Maybe there's still some hope for this crazy world of ours.

Hervorragend und Brillant - sind dies ausreichende Charakterisierungen? Bitte entschuldigt, ich bin Preusse und alle meine Vorväter stammen aus Berlin. So liebe ich natürlich die "Alten Kameraden" und "Preussens Glanz und Gloria" . Jedoch Glenn Miller übertrifft diese gute alte Musik noch in seiner Art. Der Alte Fritz - "Friedrich der Große" - wäre ganz sicher begeistert, er hätte bei allem Preußentum vielleicht ausgerufen: Dies ist Musik von Helden! Die Musiker um Glenn Miller waren es damals wohl auch wirklich. Mir gefällt besonders, wie unaufgeregt Ihr von "The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra directed by Wil Salden" an die Arbeit geht. Das ist Weltspitze. Besonders auch Euer Schlagzeuger, sorry, der Junge hats mir angetan, darf ich das sagen? Bin schon ein alter Opa. Er spielt seine Hütte mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit und macht dabei elegante Sachen. Wirklich: Mitnehmend. Glaube, allein beim Versuch diese nachzuahmen, würde sich ein Marschmusiker der Oberklasse vielleicht das Handgelenk brechen oder einen Krampf bekommen, habe ich nicht recht? Was noch besonders gut ist: Ihr laßt Euch Zeit und jeder darf gehört werden und jeder wird gehört, ja, sogar gesehen. Das ist exzellent. Das einzige, was mich an diesem wahnsinnig guten Livekonzert - aber nur ein wenig - störte, war das Publikum. Es hatte eine Mentalität vergleichbar der Flexibilität von Eisenbahngleisen, während die Miller - Musiker möglicherweise bei Schostakowitschs "Schwanensee" gekupfert haben könnten. Also abschließend, bewahrt diese einmalig schöne, wertvolle und historisch unvergleichlich kostbare Musik und bleibt schön freudig dabei, Halleluja!

Couldn't agree more ovemunk, being a musician myself for over 20 years he's just to stiff and plays it to the T of sheet music while the rest go with the flow following the music but keeping it free and flowing. It's just to plain in the percussion area.

It's a great band but how can you call it "The Glenn Miller Orchestra" where there's no one in the ensemble who was even born yet during Miller's lifetime. It's a Glenn Miller tribute band.

The band is the official European Glenn Miller band, licensed by the Glenn Miller estate. It's a name like e.g. the Boston Philharmonic; they are no longer composed of the original members, but still carry the same name (which is why it is not Glenn Miller and his Orchestra).

The Solos are in no way correct . That sucks. You call yourself the original ? Then play it like in the Original . Glenn choosed every time for a reason . You destroy all the Great Songs .
