We used to call out self centredness and talked about self restraint now we call it being your true self and fawn over it like something amazing has been discovered.

I like how Tamron referenced her Family & how she was taught. I listened to this woman & thought how fortunate she is that Tamron gave her the chance to be on National Talk Show. Glad to see Tamron that you are making changes for a Healthy set🤩Also glad that Tamron spoke up as she did! This author obviously has “issues” & has her 15min here😎

Joe Ann I hope you are not referring to something I said? I didn’t say anything even remotely close to what you mentioned? I LIKE Tamron Hall!?!🤓

She also told her she agreed with her. You pick and choose what you hear. You're ignoring and ignorant. Grow up.

Her book isn't really logically consistent. Doyle is a good writer but she says things along the lines of "there is no right or wrong way to do things" but yet we as readers are expected to think that whatever she is suggesting that we should think or do is right... That's a contradiction.

Agree. I also think she vastly overgeneralizes. I don’t know very many women who feel they were taught to “be small”, or “don’t be angry.” Even if she believes society in general tells people that, it’s not the lived experience for many of us who are raised to believe we can achieve anything. It’s like she had Victorian era parents or something.
