warior up tilt seems to really limit fox's neutral game. I see foxes normally able to freely spam neutral air in neutral and have it lead into lots of stuff, but when getting caught with an uptilt leads into a crazy combo the fox ends up needing to play a much more grounded game and he loses alot of his power that way.

Larry and ZD are good methodical foxes who can turn on the speed in key moments but I feel like Light is just pure aggression given form. Amazing to watch his fox do it's thing.

Not saying that Tweek's wario isn't nasty, it is, he's godlike. But the reason he's doing especially well is people playing way too aggressive against him, wario thrives in situations where you approach because he can't do it himself. I think as the meta progresses more people will play more passive, which does give wario waft, but it's better than getting bodied like Light and Nairo.

I main Toon Link and I can confirm that any of the Links against Fox is a bad idea, he simply out speeds Link. However Young Link stands the best chance against Fox out of the three. It’s still an uphill battle though.

Love how they were talking about how the counterpick advantage mattered when we just saw PS2 4 times. Honestly I want this stage banned because it's the only stage that gets used in like 60% of sets that I've seen, it's rediculous. We have 100 stages, I'd love if we saw more than 1.

It's the blind spot in the competitive Smash scene - 103 stages, Battlefield and Final Destination form, no Hazards with some of the best music in videogame history and we neither see or hear 95% of it. It's shameful and the scene needs to rethink this overlooked/ignored area of tournaments. Maybe a Stage Master/Manager who works with the players making sure they are happy but also selects stages to maintain spectacle and audio/visual interest. Smash is a spectator sport and should be presented as such.

they dont care, the players only concern on that stage is winning, not pleasing some random dude in the comments who wants to see a different stage. If you want to see a different stage in a tournament setting, go to a tournament and pick a different stage

@@Lightning-gg5iu Obviously my ban idea is an overreaction, but it seems like for most matchups stage counterpicking has just stopped being a mechanic. While it is "one of the best competetive stages" as it has a unique and functional platform layout, it's also removing a significant tournament play knowledge check. I'm just hoping that as the game ages people will learn what stages are beneficial to them and start actually using counterpicks. Additionally, while yes great cave offense, temple and the other party game stages would be ridiculous and unthinkable for tournament legality, there are something like 10-15 legal stages to pick from and effectively 3 are seeing play. That feels like a problem to me.
