She seems to like Rammstein. Should show her the video to ‘Sonne’. I’m sure you’ll get a reaction to that one. It’s a massively adult version of Snow White, essentially 😝 Rammstein play the part of the dwarves, mining, coming in from a hard days work, then they find ‘Snow White’ in the forest, just like the fairy tale. Then it....gets a little adult 😂 Fun fact about them and their pyro. They’re notorious for nearly burning down entire arenas with it.

I agree on Annie might liking Sonne because of thoose very atmospheric "female" vocals that comes in halfway through,it doesnt sound too heavy (like Du Hast,wich she enjoyed) And the video is funny/goofy,even if abit disturbing for some. Papa Glitch/Thomas allready did a solo reaction to the video,so he knows about it. But he sometimes go back to show Annie videos or live performances,like Mein Teil,wich i do believe was his second reaction after Sonne to Rammstein.

Background and composition re "Mein Teil" The song is inspired by the case of Armin Meiwes and Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes. In March 2001, in Rotenburg an der Fulda, the two men aged in their 40s met each other, cut off and cooked Brandes' penis and consumed it together. Afterwards, Meiwes killed Brandes - with Brandes' permission - and ate his remains. As a result, Meiwes was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in jail for manslaughter, but was later charged with murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. According to bassist Oliver "Ollie" Riedel, the song came about after "one of our members brought a newspaper to rehearsal and it had a story about the cannibal guy in it. We were fascinated, shocked and amused at the same time". Vocalist Till Lindemann stated, "It is so sick that it becomes fascinating and there just has to be a song about it". A prominent phrase in the song is "... denn du bist, was du isst, und ihr wisst, was es ist" ("Because you are what you eat, and you (pl.) know what it is"). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mein_Teil#Background_and_composition

If I’m not mixing stories, I believe that the cannibal was on the look for someone he could eat with their consent. The cannibal actually had some doubts, but the “meal” convinced him to continue. well there were no doubts about eating or killing the other guy, they started by his privates and tried to eat it both of them but was too chewy and hard to eat, but a few hours after Armin killed the other and saved and consumed a good part of the meat on time, the story is quite fascinating and in last year shows that i was lucky enough to see, they had a prety nice and impressive 3rd flame thrower and Flake the keyboerdist jumping with a flame retardant jacket infront of the huge flame, was absolutelly the best show in the world, search for the 2019 full shows, is amazing

There was actually no luring involved. He put it in chat rooms on the Internet, and actually ran an ad in the classified section of a newspaper, stating that he was a cannibal and was intrested in eating someone. He never promised any money, he simply said he needed volunteers. The gentleman who showed up, actually volunteered to let this man eat him alive. I forget the how many different things had been cut off and eaten when, I believe, the police found him. I know there was one very note worthy appendage, that had been cut off, and partially eaten. I'm going to try to keep this PG, so I will leave it to your imagination to figure it out. They were doing this, in the cannibals apartment, and the neighbors heard the screaming. Even though he had sedated this gentleman, he still was feeling a lot of what was going on. He actually lived. He also refused to press charges, because he volunteered to allow this to happen. It's a bizarre story. The Germans seemed to always have these bizarre things happen. We have Jeffrey Dahmer, but he actually did lure men into his home. This guy simply put it out there, that he wanted to do this, and the other guy was like, "OK, I'm good with it". And I would do a raact video, to 'Deutchland' and/or 'Radio'. Warning...'Deutchland' is a pretty long video.
@dylanzammit21412 жыл бұрын
Not sure if you’re mixing two stories or have a dodgy source on this one Amin meiwes (the cannibal) didn’t live in an apartment, he lived alone in his family’s manor, which is where his butchering room was, no neighbors heard the ordeal, and Bernd brandes (the “victim”) didn’t survive to press charges although the was consensual all the way through. Amin then ate bernd’s meat in various forms over the following months until he’d eaten 23 kilos of bernds body (his chest, his limbs and head were buried in Amins backyard)
@vollstaendingennamen4 жыл бұрын
yeah, not going in detail about it, someone else already mentioned that he didnt lure the other guy in, anyhow, the songs name, "my piece", refers to the body part of the guy that they ate. yes, they both ate it, roasted and seasoned with salt and pepper. well. you asked for corrections on the backstory ;)

If you are pigeon holed into not liking them because they "mostly" sing in German, you are only cheating yourself. 16:28 One of the best for sure. Think for me the best one was Queen + Adam Lambert a few years ago (was supposed to see them again two days ago), but Rammstein puts on a great show. Went to see them last year because I used to listen to them when I was in high school (like 20 years ago), and I wanted to see them live once. I was so impressed with their performance that I bought tickets for this year's show (which has been postponed until next year) when they went for sale. Their concerts sell out incredibly fast, at least here in Europe. 50k tickets are usually gone within about fifteen minutes, and they cost $70 to $100. Definitely worth it to go and see them live though! If I could pitch in three options for a react: - Alter Bridge (Words Darker Than Their Wings @ Royal Albert Hall or Blackbird @ Wembley) - Poets of the Fall (Carnival of Rust, either the official video or the live version @ Moscow) - Shinedown (Cut the Cord, Diamond Eyes or Sound of Madness, would pick the official videos here) All of those bands have amazing live vocalists, some of the best in rock today, and they surely deserve some love. I've seen them live multiple times (POTF five times, AB and Shinedown both three times) and they never disappoint. Since you're into classic rock I think you'll especially like Alter Bridge. My dad also is a huge classic rock fan (Queen, Deep Purple, Wishbone Ash, etc) and he recognizes a lot of that in AB.

You should look at the same performance but from the concert they did last year in Europe. There is still this song, but they use a 3rd flamme thrower, well it's more a Canon flamme thrower 😁

You should watch the 2022 live version. They've upgraded the flamethrower 😋

Glitch in the Matrix Multi-Media Lookup Rammstein live in Paris on Amazon Video, hopefully it’s available in the states, they‘ve got their full live performance from their 2017 stadium tour covered there. If you want some private recordings, I have some from last year in Roesner Luxemburg, just let me know where I could send them to you.

You guys really need to react to some 2019 live Rammstein stuff, plenty of it on youtube. The stage and lightshow is crazy!

This video is starting to show its age now. If you find a more current performance from them, the last bit of the show is that they will actually get a flame throwing CANNON up on stage, and blast Fluke directly wearing protective gear.

On the current tour, Till is dissapointed with the second flamethrower and wheels out one the size of a howitzer. I stood two meters from the fence in Stockholm, August 2019.

20 yo German here, seen Rammstein live twice. Kind of shocked that I can relate to the father way more than to his daughter. Looking foreword to see more of your reactions it’s very interesting to watch. To the topic of taking her to a concert, I don’t know about the audience of Rammstein in America, but here in Europe they are quit rough, so I think she might be a bit afraid of the crowd

All is good here. I took my two teen girls to a Rammstein show. Best thing we've ever done together ❤

This song is about a case of cannibilism that happend in Germany many years ago. A man put an add in a newspaper looking for someone that allow him to eat him. The add was answered. They met and the man was eaten alive, piece by piece. The "victom" eventually passed and then died. The perpetrator was arrested. His defence was that the victom agreed to everything. It was very controversial. "Mein Teil" translates to "my part". I think both of you should react to "Engel" next. You will love that performance to.
