True worst case scenario is ben in the middle of a pass it on taking a familiar dish to the normal then putting a twist on it they will never know. Sometimes I think he does it on purpose to make a more entertaining video but he also seems like the sort of person that can't just have a simple nice meal, like a burger and chips for example, without putting some weird twist on it that actually takes away from what would have been a simply tasty dish. As he says himself "less is more" and I think he needs to learn that lesson as much as the normals.

I just feel like if Ben wants the team to succeed in a pass it on then he should restrict himself from going to areas of cooking that only the other chefs will understand.

Love these! For the scoring, you should have the first person rate 1-10 as a base, then the next person can give a +/- modifier depending on if they think they made it better or worse. Would be interesting to see what the dish's end score/10 would be compared to what they think it should get at the end. For example: First person gets to the end of their time and scores themself an 8. Next person comes in, assumes a score based on what they see. Then at the end of their time they really made a mess of it and gives a -2 modifier. So dish is now a 6 Next person kills it and gives themselves a 3. Dish is a 9 Last person flubs and gives a -1. Dish is an 8/10 And see if they think that score holds true once they try it.

great episode! its so much better when everyone is clear on what is being done so in the end its actually something edible I would suggest adding lifelines to each member like ask kush for a tip on what to do or what something is and leave a note like if something needs to be coked all 40m (put the chicken in the oven asap) just a short tip swap back to someone else but they must also have a lifeline over or else you lose half your time or something

I'll forgive the not straining the broth since I've done the exact same thing and just soldiered on

I'm speechless.. can't believe that came together perfectly well (minus the prawn shells).

They need to go back to 2 chefs in these. It's Ben doing 80% of the work in 10 minutes and then the normals taking it back to 70% in half an hour.

As for individually... Ben has to understand that the others may not understand him frankly the fact that each of them graded themselves low except for Jamie shows that Jamie understood the situation better than any of the others and it also shows that he was put in the right place at the right time... And yes the other two in the middle deserved their low scores because they should have Mike especially should have known the difference between a prawn and a lobster.

Jamie making eye contact with the camera as Baz is giving his score is golden.

Ask Ai to set you a challenge Let one of the Normals have help from a chef whilst the other normal gets help from Ai

Honestly, this is on hell of a turn around, and proof that sometimes you don't need to keep adding complexity to a dish to create something good.

After all this time, the normals are still normal, and the chef is still a chef! I just love you guys! Congrats on the pass.
