And both of which are things he makes over and over again and is confident with in himself he can make. His 'out there' is at least mostly predictable. Barry on the other hand? I actually agree with ben, prepped ingredients that are ready for use is perfect, it doesn't matter if it took seconds to prepare, if you have 4 seconds less then you fail the challenge and wont get to use it, its better then no progress by a mile and certaintly if hes stuck moving is better then stopping.

He cut all the veg so it could be used right away, identified what needed the longest attention to get the pie cooking and the hot dog water boiling, and though he could have passed on zesting the lime, the zest was ready when Ebbers needed it. A few weeks ago she included a Fray Bentos pie from the International shelf (I live in Canada), "you're British, you should like this!" was her comment. I've been avoiding the tin for the last 3 weeks wondering how the heck am I going to open the bloody thing! Obviously it can be done if Jamie did it!

I'm going to get so much hate for saying this on a cooking channel.... but, if you get one of the better varieties and one of the better versions of the recipes they've used over time*, they're not terrible for an emergency you can keep it in the cupboard for ever thing, or a Friday night just in from pub and need to eat thing. they're kinda like a military MRE. * better versions of recipes is because they went from OK, to pure crap and recently back to not too bad

@@UnicornPastelPrincess Jamie used a standard tin opener. Maybe yours is dull or the blade is too short. BTW I haven't tried fray bentos but I guess one of the "safety" tin openers that cut through the rolled edge of the lid might work much better than a standard one. I can recommend the Kuhn Rikon one, it's more expensive than a standard one but worth the expense.

My fiance and I love watching these videos. They are so fun and entertaining. He does have a suggestion though. After a pass it on, an episode about how to make the ingredients used better. He loved the how to cook episodes the most and would love to see some of that mixed in with pass it on. Thank you so much for the amazing videos. This is our favorite channel to watch together.

Strangely, USE EVERYTHING has a feeling of chaos at the very start of the video, like when someone shouts at you from 0:00, "USE!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" suddenly panic sets in. This is different from other PIO where the chaos comes midway thru the video.

This was an absolute Pass. I think everyone should be proud of their performances this episode. Jaime, you earned that 8 but really it should have been 10.
