Agreed with folks that this was tough. The written instructions from Specialized for the Globe Haul ST are different and do not require flipping the bike. They worked for removal, but definitely not for installing the rear wheel back after fixing the flat...that was the hardest part for me. Specialized please update this so the directions are consistent!

2:37 Missing step if you have the throttle installed. Remove the throttle from the handlebars and then you can rotate the display. 3mm hex tool for the throttle. 2.5mm for bell and display.

4:47 The “no-turn” washers need to be oriented on the non-drive side where the nub is next to the wire, then mirrored on the drive side. Otherwise the wire will be smashed by the frame.

Removing and especially reinstalling the rear wheel is EXTREMELY difficult. If you choose to do this at home, do everything you can to have someone available to help you. This process literally brought me to tears.

I work in a bicycle shop. I have customers who will load a simple road bike into their car, drives several miles to the store, unload the bike, and bring it into the store for something as easy as fixing a flat on the front wheel. This leads me to believe the average cyclist with minimal mechanical ability is going to attempt removing the wheels on the Haul after watching this video.

Agreed. It’s been several years since I have had to patch a tube and I’ve been maintaining my own bikes / worked in shops for over 20 years. What is this, an empty toothpaste tube? Most people will not have the capabilities or skills to not get hung up on the annoying clearances of the large disc brake, thick dropout/seat stay tubes; the derailleur cage not easily letting the wheel in or out… the thick grease on the chain that arrives from the factory that has collected all the dirt and grime from the roads… I’ll likely remove the chain and strip it down and wax it at some point.

Horrible video for rear wheel install. The derrailier is someone straight up on its own in this video. On the bike it moves inward when extended.

This isn't as hard as everyone is making it out to be. That said, I wouldn't want to to it frequently and probably will invest in a Tannus liner for the back tire.

the problem is, this video doesn’t show the correct kickstand orientation. the kickstand needs to be in the “engaged” position, this will give a noticeable clearance advantage.

It is laughably difficult to take off the rear wheel. For such an otherwise well designed product pretty big design flaw

Love the Bike but Hate the brand only for sell on USA and no release date for the rest of the world, i did contact with specialized and the answer whas they dont know
