Also I’ve had an epiphany they decreased combo longevity damage to force players to use less supers and use more light and heavy hits in combos, that why the combo on went up 10% more when it was awakened, it was because the amount of supers. But I guess even when you want to do a combo the only way people think they can do damage is with supers.

No juggling mechanics or anything, because they don't want pros to play this: they want kids who get a kick out of free, hyper-armored spam. It's the concept of selling one well made game whilst taking 4 plus years to develop (which with anime would result in a crazy outdated product story wise, unless you are using finished anime) or you could dish out a bunch of quick products with fewer sales but greater overall accumulating profit due to lack of development time. With that you could integrate small updates over multiple series and experiment with your customers to maximize profit gradually. This is why most recently created characters are in these games.... cause customers love CACS in their games, it allows for a more connected experience which results in a more consistent return of the otaku and anime consumer.

If they made separate health bars for each character and balance it more then that alone would make the game so much better. Why the fuck do all 3 characters share a health bar? No other 3v3 game does that. It makes having teammates useless wtf. Fix that shit! This change alone alongside some other balance patches dealing with the stamina bar and escaping etc also the Scaling of damage would make the game so much better

Storm 4 didn't have separate health bars for each character either by the way. One health bar for all three is better that way for combos

I wanted to love this game I did, but it’s just so horribly balanced not just with characters but with how the games rewards skill or lack there of. I still have so much fun. I play it with my friends every time they come over. I think if it really hurts you that much, then you definitely shouldn’t play it, but I also believe that the quality of this game as been extremely overexagerated. It’s not bad. In fact I’ve had as much fun playing this game with my friends as smash bros and mortal kombat. I’m not exaggerating.

Things that would make jumpforce better. Imho 1. Vanish either taken out completely or like you said atleast half stamina, (I'm ok with awakening combo breaks, there's a big cost to get out of a combo so that's fine) 2. The whole ping pong sequence would he really cool if it was worth it, like if you got 1 bar of meter each successful hit. Then those really intense high speed dodge sequences would be more prevalent and worth it than always doing light>light >light> light >heavy> heavy >heavy >special. 3. Make high speed counters a parry mechanic. 4. Make high speed dodges just for the ping pong sequence. 5. Give team synergy a reward, dont know how many times I've won using just kiilua and ice sword girl. I got dai on my team but sometimes I dont use him at all. Maybe give extra meter when you switch characters during combos or even extra stamina. 6. Awakening should be gained by either A. Successful hits/combos or B. A timed thing. Dont know how many times I've done a full combo on m friend for him to vanish the last hit then super and now the health is tied up. That just shouldnt exist This is just a start I also dont like how if you jump, you get supered for free. If you keep vanishing, add end lag so if you read the vanish you can punish it. And the first bar shouldnt charge for free, it promotes camping. I'd like to see some.of this change

I mean I still like the game. Lots of games have had a real bad start but after a lot of changes and fixes, got really good. Ex: Star Wars Battlefront 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Street Fighter 5, etc. It isn’t impossible. It’s just gonna take time.

Jump force had so much potential to have added more details the fans would've loved. One example I came up with is that the more injured all might gets, the more skinnier he gets until he is in his distorted form. Attention to detail couldve helped the game alot but also fixing the game in general and nerfing bots cause damn those are extremely OP

I play a lot of competitive fighters and my thoughts on this game are still the same as they were at launch, it's just babys first fighting game. There's absolutely no incentive to get better at this game, it's skill floor is its skill ceiling since it's best just to find one thing worth spamming, and then to spam it, it's technically shallow and its mechanics actively work against the player thinking, coupled with its obnoxious visual presentation which is an overload on the senses, you just mash buttons for 20 minutes before you inevetably get bored and play something else. Honestly, kudos to you for dropping this, it's hardly worth the time, and if it didn't have peoples favourite anime characters, no one would ever defend it.

I hate "I'm Quitting X Game" videos, dunno why it recommended this to me, but lemme break down how the videos going to go. It usually starts with an apologetic stance towards people that still like the game, followed up with an apology for people that are here just for videos of that game, followed by a sob story about how the content creator "pained" through playing the game specifically for views, either ignoring, or acknowledging that it would make them a sell out, meaning an admission of it. The next act will likely go into parts of the game they like and don't like, either leading with or ending with the problems in the game they cannot stand, then there might be a tangent complaining about said problems which sheds doubt on the entire video being about anything other than a "threat" to a developer to fix the game, and the content creator actually doesn't want to quit the game they just wanted to vent. The video will end with the content creator pleading and or trying to guilt followers into continuing to watch their channel, even though the channels viewership is mostly based in the game you're quitting. But that's just it... Do you really want to quit? Or is this video an "on the fence" kind of deal where you WANT to play the game, but you experience a level of negativity from playing that sours the experience, living off a brief high the game gives you as a reminder of the fun you used to have, mixed with the things the game still gets right. You're "addicted" to the game, and like any addict you NEED to "QUIT" it. But that's just it... if it's not a good game you can just walk away and stop playing it, if it IS a good game you quitting will create a negative feedback loop as any OTHER game reminds you of this one, despite the fact that it's a good quality. Here's the thing, I don't care for fighting games (yet KZbin recommended this to me) but I know something about this game. It was trash because it lacked a proper roster, I sat looking at the roster at launch going "Are these people serious?" Jump force, as in Shonen Jump... right? So where's all the fantastic Shonen Jump characters people love? It's missing some of the best characters from certain series (Like Seriously they had room for Boruto but not Sakura) Only 2 from My Hero? What about Food Wars, I'm sure fans would like that... Death Note? Black Cat? Black Clover? One Punch? Like... Jump Force was poised to be "Anime Smash" and with weird character exclusions, and missing shows, I was incredibly confused at what audience they expected to grab.I mean I can understand not having Deadman Wonderland characters, the Manga was not in Jump after all, but it felt weird to see such a mediocre roster at launch, and I knew it would go one of two ways... They would section off content and sell DLC characters (or some other kind of post launch addition of characters) or they were just launching a cash grab that would eventually have everybody leave the game because they realized that it's just a cash grab. So here's the real thing, anybody that needs to go off and "quit" playing their games by commitment, and doesn't just... stop playing the games they don't enjoy anymore, is lying to themselves and lying to everybody they can to try and force themselves to live that lie. Nobody needs to "quit" a game, not unless you have actual addiction problems where you need support to take you away from abusive mechanics (like gambling addiction). YOU, however, don't need that... So this video, by definition, is a lie. You don't need help quitting the game, you're not addicted, you're just lying that you hate the game and don't want to play it anymore. If you don't like the game, just stop playing it, otherwise, don't force yourself to give up a game you still enjoy playing because of a couple issues that keep bothering you whenever you play. Find why you still enjoy the game, look for other games or figure out how to extract the fun from those good parts despite the things that bother you, and quit making clickbait videos.
