Many thousands. I carried it and shot it a lot for six years, and it was used when I bought it. I replaced the Slide Lever Stop after this video; as you can see, it was not keeping the slide back reliably. Actually, the spring is all I need to replace, but I had an extra Slide Lever Stop, so I just switched it out for now.

I love my 26, still my edc. I don't shoot mine as good as you Hickok but I am a competent shooter and I can hold my own. It is a very accurate gun and if I could only have one, it'd be a glock 26. Takes all it's bigger brothers mags.

These early Hickok 45 videos when Glock was King are so pleasingly nostalgic to watch. The model 26 is a classic handgun, and I plan on acquiring one for concealed carry in the near future. Hickok himself seems a bit nostalgic about Glock lately, and I hope that translates into more Glock videos featuring other classics like the model 23 in .40 S&W (the last Glock he would ever get rid of at one point in time). Thank you sir for your contributions to the shooting sports! 🤠👍

I used to only like my G26 with the pearce grip +2 extenders, but now after trying it with a flush fit for awhile im beginning to prefer it with the flush fit magazines. They look better on the gun and feel fine, I don't know why I used to favor those extended mags so much, even though ive got gigantor hands, like you... The 26 w/ flush mags fits me fine

A little with my .45s so that I could shoot lead bullets. I've not been that pleased with them, though. I have Lone Wolf Barrels for my Glock 30 and my Glock 21, but sometimes they don't like my handloads. I think I'm just going to sell the Lone Wolf barrels and when I want to shoot cast bullets, drag out a 1911, which is what I normally do anyway.

I might be wrong about this, but I love the close-ups on the gong. It looks like you can actually see some of the bullets as they fly into the target. And you can also see some of the bullets bounce off of the gong.

_I owned three (3) _*_Glock 26s_*_ until..._ The Glock 26 was my favorite glock *BUT* today my favorite carry Glock (CCW) is the *_Glock 43/43X._* Which is an amazing "true" sub-compact (IMO): The G43/43X is lighter than the G26. The G43/43X is smaller than the G26. The G43/43X is less costly than the G26. The G43/43X is just as accurate as the G26. The G43/43X is just as reliable as the G26. The G43/43X is what more new shooters want & are using for Coronavirus concealed carry self-defense (as I saw in my CCW/CHD class). _Thus,_ For concealed carry the *_Glock 43/43X_* is much better than the Glock 26. For home defense the *_Glock 19x & Glock 45 (9mm)_* is much better than the G26 or G43/43X. BUT the powerful shotgun or rifle *should ALWAYS be use to defend your home.* NOTE: _Magazine Interchangeability an Advantage??_ If you are not a government agent, in Law Enforcement, or on active duty in the military why would *magazine interchangeability* with different Glock platforms matter - _talking about serious use of a firearm._

I so enjoy your videos. I am originally from MS. Living in El Paso, TX at present. Here on the border we have real problem right across the border in Juarez. I have a 1911 and PT92 Taurus. The Glock 26 seems to be a great gun for CCW. Would it work as a pocket pistol, or would it be better holstered? Great Job!!!

I can't tell if your being sarcastic or are serious. I couldn't disagree with you more. If the SHTF and at a critical moment your pistol goes(CLICK) instead of (BANG!) because the magazine is empty but did not cue you to reload you could be killed and no longer have to worry about reloading. If the pistol does go (CLICK) when you wanted it to go (BANG) and you are alive hopefully your opponent doesn't see it. Hopefully you will be able to reload before you are killed. This is a critical failure!

If Glock is not paying you, they should be. After watching your G19 videos I bought one. Then I found this videos. Looks like there's a G26 in my future. The accuracy surprises me (speaking from limited experience with my G19).

I keep coming back to this video :) The last thing I need now is to cave and buy a 26! There is a range here maybe 30 miles or so that rents guns. Maybe I'll go try the little 26 and see how I like it for fun. Thanks hickok45!

What happens to the bowling pin after it has been peppered by your glock? Can you show a close up? Or better yet, break out some firepower that shatters or explodes the pin? You have to have a gun for that occasion

Sir…did you ever resolve the issue with the slide not locking back? Any idea on what the cause was? Thanks!

I carry my G26 or my 1911 Ultra Raptor. I’ve been carrying the glock more lately as it does hold a few more rounds.
