he made 3 points that are detrimants to G44 sound like they are attributes to the G44. The grip angle is not intuitive to glocks, the 1911 as he referenced is the better intuitive pointing firearm. 2. The Glock trigger which is the crapiest trigger out there and especially compared to the sig trigger. 3. Height over boar in a .22 is neglible, it's a .22 for god sake. The 20 round capacity mags for the Sig were only briefly mentioned. He should have just come out and done a review on the G44 only...

Good review, I moved over to Glock's from "metal guns" 20 + years back, have not been sold (fan) on Sig until the 320s. I've been looking for a new 22LR pistol for last few years, checked on G44 but magazine capacity and questionable reliability has been my holdout reasons. My Ruger MK2 is getting long in tooth. I owned a 44. I never liked the the 2 finger pieces to break down the gun. As you mentioned the trigger can get your finger raw. I used my 44 for plinking. It was a nice gun and shot well. As soon as I saw the reviews on the Sig I put my 44 up for sale. It sold in about 3 or 4 weeks for almost what I paid for it 6 months ago. I’m waiting for my dealer to get a P322 in. He knows its sold! I love the way it breaks down so easily. Just like my Bersa Thunder. I also like that it has 20+1 and it is optic ready. Not sure if I’ll go with the Sig Romeo Elite or the Holosun 407K X2. I should mention I have a P365 that I love and the 44 was the first Glock I have owned.

My Glock 44 has run flawless from day one, Including the 18 round Pro Mags (just run it wetter than a normal Glock). My Sig P322 has been a jam-o-matic. I have yet to get a full mag (200 rounds so far) without a jam no matter how carefully I load the mags. Thankfully no leading in the barrel yet as others have had problems with.
@Luposian2 жыл бұрын
I've run right around 200 rounds through my SIG P322 and I had only one stovepipe and one jam (using CCI 22 Mini Mags). When I tried firing it the first time, I tried to manually cycle a round into the chamber (like I do with my Ruger 10/22 and S&W 22 Victory) and it got hung up. But, I found out, if you lock the slide back and slap in a fully loaded magazine into the handle, the slide closes automatically and a round loads in just fine. Might have been user magazine loading error or something else... dunno. But I can trust my P322 will fire when I pull the trigger, as it ran almost flawlessly the entire time I was testing it out... unlike my Kel-Tec PMR-30, which was absolutely WORTHLESS! It jammed every other shot! Horrible design flaw... but for a mere $400, you can get parts/installation that will make it run like it SHOULD run, out of the box! But... the gun isn't worth that much, even if it ran flawlessly out of the box, to begin with! So I sold it (with two other functionally useless guns) and got the Sig Sauer P322 in trade, plus some extra cash! Not regretting it one iota, so far! 😀

If .22 has negligible recoil, being closer to the bore is kinda moot... Plus I'll take 20 shots all day in the magazine... With how small the bullets are I still don't understand (except for feeding issues due to the rim... With technology you'd think they'd have figured that out by now) why makers are STILL making these low cap 7-10 shot magazines for pistols... Makes sense to sell em in restricted states but other than that? Unless I'm missing something which admittedly I may have since I haven't shot a .22 since I was a kid

Clean the gun prior to firing, break it in with 40 grain CCI Mini Mags or Aguila. Avoid the lead bullets. Don't overlube the gun. Feed the rounds properly and you should have a great experience.

I love Glock... I carry one every day. In fact, I own 19 of them, of which 2 of those are 44s. That said... The 44 doesn't hold a candle to the p322. Leaving the factory with a threaded barrel, and 20 round magazines, it was eating Glock's lunch on the train in to town. At this point, Glock should feel bad for the 44 still being on the market.

I got a Sig P322. It didn't work. 3 types of ammo, Winchester Super X, Remington Golden bullet and CCI Minimags. Failure to feed, stovepipes and light hits. One magazine didn't work, the rounds stuck below the level of the lips. It went back to Sig the day I got it. Got it back about a week later with a whole list of stuff that got replaced or adjusted. Now, it sort of works. I got twom more different types of ammo, Aguila and Federal. I loaded it super carefully, making sure that every round went in at exactly the correct angle. I average at least one or two malfunctions per magazine. Usually a failure to feed, the occasional stovepipe.or the occasional light hit. I got it because it was cut for a Red Dot Sight and I put a Holosun 507on it. Still haven't zero'd the sight, every time I decide the pistol is ready to zero, the damn thing starts jamming again. Would not recommend the Sig P322.

I recently purchased the Sig P322 hoping I would end up with a good one after a lot of negative reviews. Mine was made in Jan 2023 so I knew I had a better chance with some of the changes they had made and knowing a few friends who have the 'newer generation' were having no issues. All I can say is that this pistol has become my number one 22LR pistol beating my TX22 competition in every way. It has had 0 FTF, 0 FTE, 0 light primer strkes running with suppressor for the first 1000 rounds. It shoots MUCH more accurately (grapefruit size groups standing at 25 yards) than my TX22. The groups with the TX22 at 25 yards open up quite a bit more. Running holoson 407k on Sig and Vortex Venom on TX22. Both guns are equally as reliable and has eaten everything I tried which include Aguila HV copper RN 1255 fps, Norma Tac 22 1100 fps, Federal American Eagle 970 fps, CCI SV 1070 fps, and CCI Quiet 835 fps. Only time I had light primer strikes with both was when I ran the CCI quiet 835 fps without suppressor (out of 20, maybe 2 wouldn't cycle). This pistol is awesome!

Hey Lenny, I never learned to ride a two wheel bike with Training Wheels and I never had to Train with a 22 before I shot the Larger Caliber Hand Guns! In my Entire Shooting Life, I never met anyone that said, "I had to learn to shoot a 22 before I could shoot my 9mm"! IMO, It's all a bunch of BS and those of us Experienced Shooters, Know Better! Having said all this, I must say that I own and now shoot only 22LR/22Mag Guns! At my age of 79, I can no longer handle the larger caliber guns because of Nerve Damage in my Hands, so I had to adjust my shooting to the small caliber Guns. I can now shoot just as good or better with these guns and I have more fun at my LGR! In closing, I would like to say that I Do Carry as my EDC a 22LR Gun with a 16 round magazine and I also, at times, carry a 22Mag pistol with a 30 round mag! Not a Problem for Me! There are Many Reasons why Shooters love to shoot the small Caliber guns But To use for Training, IMO, not a good Idea!

Why does the G44 mag only hold 10 rounds of 22, if it’s the same size of the G19 which holds 15 of the larger 9mm. It seems feasible that a double stack G44 mag could hold more rounds of 22 than 15 in the G19. Plus the G44 is nearly $400 but with a 100% polymer frame and slide, plus only a 10 round mag, it could have been even cheaper.

The "cheapness" of the SIG P322 trigger, is the fact it's a removable "shoe", not a physical trigger. The physical trigger is a small metal barb like protrusion that the "shoe" clips onto. It comes with both straight and curved trigger shoes. I'm still learning my P322, so I don't care for one over the other (I haven't changed out the default straight one for the curved one yet, however). But the slightly flexible nature of the type of plastic they use is what you're undoubtedly feeling. But the significantly lighter trigger pull will mean you shouldn't notice it hardly, if at all. I know I don't.

If the Glock is a great trainer for the 19 but half the weight then maybe it's not as great a trainer. And if you're going to shoot 21 rounds pop pop in a row isn't more metal construction better? Thank you for your time and also thank you for moving to Tennessee
@glockstore2 жыл бұрын
Our turn around time is currently 10 days or less for all slides and that starts counting down once we receive the slide, brought in or shipped. Thank you for the question!

The Sig is very accurate but after seeing all the videos on how reliable they are, my 322 must be a lemon. I get at least 4 to 6 failures to feed every session even with hundreds of rounds through it. I have yet to have any issue with the TX22. I don't own the Glock. My Beretta 87 and Neos will shoot all day without a failure.

When I first tried firing my P322, I tried to manually cycle a round into the chamber and it got hung up (wouldn't go in). Couldn't figure out why... my Ruger 10/22 and S&W 22 Victory work fine doing that, but... whatever. However, when I lock the slide open and slap a loaded magazine into the handle, the slide automatically closes and slips a round into the chamber with no issue. I've, otherwise, only had one stovepipe and one FTF in just under 200 rounds fired through my new gun. You might be having mag loading issues? Sure beats my Kel-Tec PMR-30 which was a pile of junk... no matter what I did, that pile of polymer junk would jam every other shot, I kid you not. TOTALLY unreliable! I loved everything else about it, except for that. And what good is a gun you can't trust to shoot, when you pull the trigger? But, oh... for $400 more, you can have it fixed by a 3rd party company, so it IS reliable! Ugh! I traded it in, at our local gun dealer, with two other useless, unreliable guns I had... for the P322 and $375 cash! Not regretting it one iota so far! 😀

You were doing a good job until you claimed Glock points more natural than a 1911 grip angle. Glock has earned its reputation with hard use and reliability but they need to start pushing innovation. They should never discontinue the traditional platform but they’re leaving a lot of meat on the bone with respect to innovating new weapon systems.

in a lot of your vid's it seems like you are able to rack the slide with two fingers and very little effort. do you put light spring on the guide rods for demonstration purposes or something? glock slides never seemed that easily manipulated to me.

This video almost sounds more less like a comparison between two guns and more like a video trying to convince me to buy a 22LR pistol (vs a centerfire). In terms of a comparison, he neglects to consider a few other features of importance (to many viewers). These are A) Optics ready (Glock - No, Sig - Yes), B) Suppressor Ready (Glock - Not without spending extra money, Sig - Yes). Comparisons in Video: Mag Capacity (G - 10, S - 20). Trigger pull (G - 6.5 Lb, S-4 Lb). Bore Height (G lower than S). Is the last one important? On a 22 LR pistol, probably not. So, clear winner: Sig. Yes, he is really trying hard not to admit that even though the Sig is better, he is just merely a Glock fan, no matter what.

the only thing that gets me about glock is the stupid 10 round magazine. a completely separate company had to come in and make a better than 10rd magazine for it. cmon man.
