One correction for you brother. The SF has a different trigger housing. The angle of it is slightly greater which causes the connector angle to change resulting in about 1 pound more on the trigger pull. In fact, that's the reason Glock went to the "." connector on the Gen4s as all of them had a trigger housing with a greater angle as the older SF guns did.

I just picked up a Glock 20c gen3. The frame is a little large for my hands. If I pick up a 20sf frame, can i put the 20c upper on it without issue?

I already had a G40 and G29 4th Gen Guns, I ran across a used G20 SF (That still had the factory oil on it, I didn't think it had ever been shot by the previous owner) for the kingly ransom of 320.00 with 4 Mags and all the original packaging. What a fantastic trio. I have the G40 for hunting and back country, the G20 for normal carry and the 29 for CCW.

I'm headed up north in a couple weeks to work a logging camp setup and we all decided we needed to carry something since there are black bear, moose, elk, and cougar in the area. I wasn't comfortable with just a single action .44 so I have a 10mil on layaway that I'll be picking up next week. Good ol' G20SF so let's hope she runs good :)

I just picked up a Glock 20SF. I was never interested in Glocks before but I needed a 10mm and was not impressed with other 10 mm pistols. I love the 10mm cartridge. Thank you for your informative video. It helped me make a good decision. Sig Sauer is coming out with a 10mm this year. Hopefully you will make a video on it also.

I bought one and have run three hundred rounds through it this past week. It has the picatinny rail on the lower. This is now my EDC. Had to move the CZ and 1911 over. I love the 45 cartridge.

I went to pick up one gun I had on Layaway today at my local gun store a Ruger GP100 stainless 6" barrel and saw a used Glock 20sf gen 3 in great condition with 2 mags but no case for $400 out the door he originally wanted $449 so he saved me a few bucks on a good used Glock 20sf couldn't walk out the door without it

I want a G20sf slide with a G29sf grip I guess I’ll have to make it myself. I shortened my G23 grip to the baby Glock size and added a Pierce pinky extender to the baby magazine. Love it for concealment and no loss of control with pinky fully engaged.

The thing about the g20 is not only can you shoot 10mm out of it, but you can also shoot 40S&W out of it too. Plus you can change the barrel to 9mm, 357 sig and several other calibers too. With the g20 and g21 slide, several conversion barrels and mags you can shoot 11 different calibers from one gun.

We did the following with an 8" long, 1/4" wide strip of paper. The two firearms were the G21sf Gen3 and the G21 Gen5. Whe wrapped the strip of paper around the area from where the web of your hand grips the firearm to the face of the trigger. On both firearms, it came out to exactly 7 inches. So, it appears that even the G21 Gen5 is an SF, short frame model, they just don't advertise it.

Short frame Glock 29 feels good, recoil is manageable and in the woods (non-Grizzly) it is the best gun to haul around. And wet doesn't make you worry about rust. Hard to beat.

I owned a G20SF and 29SF and loved them. I traded them in last year when I heard they were working on Gen4 versions. As soon as Tax return comes in I'm looking at getting my Gen4 replacements. Can't Wait! I only wish Smith&Wesson made a 10mm M&P, that would be heaven on Earth!

I've got a 30SF and love it. The dealer who sold it to me even switched out my mags for 10 rounders, rather than the 9 that comes regular with it, for a better grip on that big .45 gun. Great conceal gun, big .45 power in a small package!

I have medium hands and the standard is just fine. I actually like the way it fills up my hands. I first shot the Glock 20 when I was 11 and don't even remember feeling a fat grip.

Sir, He is right. Gen4 guns do come with 3 mags. I just got the 26gen4 and I did get 3 mags. I was also told that day at the Gunshop that all gen4s come with3mags. As a matter of fact I had chosen the model 17gen 4 and it had 3mags but the background check didnt clear that day. I regretted my choice that night having gone home without the 17 I asked if I could exchange th17 for a 26. They did it and the 26 I went home with had 3mags also. he is right.

Thank you for a nice comparison of the standard large frame Glock and the Short Frame guns. Also nice to see the 10mm love; carried a 1076 years ago and absolutely love the 10mm, have been fortunate to have owned a few different 10mm pistols over the years and the Glock 10mm is one of the best. The difference between the standard frame and SF frame seems minimal, but it makes a world of difference to me.

Yea, all Gen 4's come with 3 mags, even advertised on Glock's website. Gen 3's still just come with 2, but Gen 4's come with 3.

what is the price difference between the 20 gen 4 and 20sf gen 4? I really want a 10mm for hiking. we have wolves, mountain lions and bear where I live. I've ran into big male moose while hiking and have had them snort at me. I was carrying a knife and it completely opened my eyes.

I think they change up a little bit! my wife gave me money for my Bday so I went and purchase a G21SF. The little box that suppose to have "SF" doesn't, instead they put the "SF" by the "Made in Austria" and mine does have a rail. Also my mag doesn't have that visible shinny plate on mag

Sootch, you made a mistake saying the Gen4 is even "shorter" than the Gen3 SF models. Since there is no SF version of the Gen4's if you want to equal the Gen3 SF you use the Gen4 with no backstrap. It doesn't give you a smaller grip than the Gen3 SF, just the same size.

Yep, I make the same exact error when saying "SF"...for some reason 'slim frame' just sounds right lol. But you're absolutely right, there is no way to make it any slimmer really, at least not in anything noticeable. HA! best Glock i ever owned was a Gen 2 Glock 22 with a factory Gen 3 .40 s&w replacement barrel. main and only reason for barrel change was shell to chamber tolerances bases on the diameter of the chamber of gen 2 to the gen 3 .40 s&w chambered glocks. no exploding guns

Sootch, you might want to check on that info you gave about getting 3 mags with a GEN4. As far as I know the only ones that come with 3 mags are LE (Law Enforcement) versions. Being a Glock Armorer and a GSSF member I am able to buy those weapons. All others come with 2 mags especially the baby Glocks. My G29 only came with 2 mags. That may have changed, but I don't think so. Excellent vid though.

I just shot a Gen 4 G-21, then I bought a Gen 3 G-21 SF. Even with NO back strap the Gen 4 G-21 felt thicker and the Gen 3 G-21 SF like Goldilocks said "Was Just Right".

Good video but there's 8 different variations in 45acp. You forgot the G30S :-P. I may be wrong, but you mentioned parts interchange between the standard frame and SF, the trigger housing does not. Everything else does.

I bought my 1st gen 4 two months ago, I wondered if dealers would be snatching mags to make a buck. As far as 10mm watch AIM surplus. They sell PPU hollow points for $17.85 a box of 50. Sign up for the email alerts though. Last time they had it I bought 500 I wasn't the only one they were sold out in less than 24 hrs.

I met a guy that was CCDWing a Glock 17. He showed me a mod he did, he filed the lip on the bottom of the magazine well so it would accept Glock 19 magazines, because he had a bunch of them.

The Gen 4 has a smaller grip (narrower) than the SF? Trying to decide which glock 10mm would be best for small hands and little time spent with higher powered hand guns.
