Being in decent shape makes carrying anything much easier. You can conceal fairly large pistols without being too uncomfortable. It's obviously easier carrying something compact. Being skinny gives more options is all I'm thinking lol.

My boss bought a sig and it sits in his gun bag for the range. I keep a g19 gen 3 on appendix daily and it's much smoother and much more simple. Draws clean and fast and I just shoot Glocks really well. I love mnps and FN and all types of other pistols. But I truly put my life behind a Glock 19. The only other thing I carry reliably and often is an mnp 3.6 2.0 in .40 but it's like an 80-20 ratio 80 percent being the time I have a Glock on me

I’ve always liked Glocks but I also carry everyday. Every. Single. Day. When I get ready my gun is holstered and on me before I leave my bedroom every morning and the gun is always a Sig. Have both and carry both. Glocks do in fact have safeties, 3 to be exact. Drop safety, firing pin safety and blade on trigger was designed as a safety measure. No actual manual safety though. My particular sig 320 x carry has 2 internal safeties where it "shouldn't" fire unless trigger is pulled. And with such a light and smooth trigger on the 320, i tend to carry the glock more as of late however i wouldn't say either it's bad or unsafe choice

What I've found is that preference and comfort with regard to pistols does not actually affecting your shooting unless the ergonomics are literally impeding your ability to use the gun. Believe me, everyone can fit themselves to the pistol. The thing that I think surprises people is that the most comfortable ccw gun is still going to be less comfortable than not carrying at all. That's just life. Sit for an hour with your gun in the waistband. It's going to poke you. Most modern hand guns have figured out quality of life and are pretty good ergonomically. Just like how in the 90s you had the N64 controller, dreamcast, etc. control schemes were all over the place, now everything basically looks and runs the same. Same thing with pistols. That all said. Concur. No frills, Toyota carolla / honda civic of pistols. The glock 19 as a first gun. You can pick your wallpaper later, but your first and for awhile, potentially only gun, should be a tool first instead of a form of self expression.

I appendix carry a Kimber Custom II 10mm every single day so I can't really make fun of anyone for anything 😂 That being said, I train with it regularly, I'm proficient with it and I hunt with it every year and because of those things I know without a doubt that if I ever need it in an emergency situation that it'll do the job sufficiently. 10mm Underwood with those 200gr XTP's is a brute of a cartridge 😂 I've always carried full size guns, starting with the M9 and moving to the 1911 several years later. I've carried M&P's, Glocks, Caniks, 686's and GP100's among others and shot them all well enough with enough trigger time adapting to the individual firearms but I always find myself right back at the 1911. Just seems to be my comfort zone, I can get follow up shots on target very quickly while also using a more stout cartridge, at the cost of a significantly reduced capacity of 10+1 but I find that it doesn't mean as much to me as it does some people.

It was hard to decide between a 19 gen 5 and a 365xl. I’m 6’3-4 and 170 sopping wet. Sig 365xl just felt slimmer, lighter and a little more agreeable with my hand. Mag guts gets me 14 +1 flush fit 1.1 inches wide.

226 vs. Glock is the better match-up. Got both pefer the 226. Im better with DA/SA, which is the reason pretty much. G-10 checkered grips gave it the edge. Otherwise, my 17 is a go-to. Got both WML and standard holsters for that.

I recently got my first gun which is a Glock 19x I’ve been fiddling with it and learning the in and outs, I’m gonna take it to the range to get some lead and brass through it but love the content ^~^

I carry a H&K USP .40 v2. I’ve had it and had it cut for an optic years ago and got quite use to and good with it, training and practice are key. I also lost my right eye (predominant shooting eye) and am now no longer wedded to anything needing get around that. Whatcha think?
