Prepping for and applying the gloss coat to a surfboard. I sanded the pin lines with 150 grit sandpaper and then cleaned the board with acetone. I applied the gloss coat using a 3” chip brush with polyester gloss resin and taped off the rails with Indasa masking tape. My signature was written with a Posca Pen. Surfboard dimensions are 6' x 20.5 x 2.5. I've only glassed a handful of boards and am not an expert but this glassing process works for me.
