I had issues with a stuck glow plug in my w203. Was not backing off free and all mechanics who tried, said is gonna break. Filled with oil on top and ran the car for two weeks. After came free very easily. Just wanted to share the info. Who knows, it might help someone.

Thank you. Yes it is true, sometimes oil or wd40 required.

I've replaced the glowplugs on my w204 c220 cdi, same OM646 engine... I have to replace the glow plug module because the light on the dash board still stays on for 2 to 3 minutes, showing that the glow plugs are not warmed up yet, right? Sometimes when it's cold it has a very rough and shaky start. I hope the new module will fix the problem. I will upload a video as well in about 2 weeks when I have time off work to do a service.

Why engine cold? I thought engine should be warm its easier to remove them no?

Hi, the Mercedes Benz w203 Cylinder head Material: Aluminium! Never tight or loose screws in hot aluminium because you can breaks out the thread easily.

Do you plan to use an injector cleaner with the direct aspiration technic? I d like to do it but i don’t know how, which hose i have to drip in the cleaner ? I have the sae engine same diesel filter

Hi, sorry but not, I think you choose oficial diesel service for checking and cleaning injectors. My opinion nothing better than mechanical cleaning.
