Sometimes math in the head is just not possible without being a mad lad. But with a paper and pen it should be possible. 48/52= what? With a calc the answer is 0,92307... That means he was 92% right. Hey, someone with Celiac Disease here! What gluten does is not cause your stomach lining to slough off, it kills the villi in your intestines, preventing you from absorbing water and nutrients as that causes the surface area of your intestines to go way down, meaning that you absorb less.
@Takenmynameandmycat4 ай бұрын
It can also scar if it goes on long enough, increase cancer risk, and gives you temporary/permanent lactose intolerance since the ends of the villi are where lactose is absorbed after your gut bacteria work on it.

@@manacress85 Average roll value, which is determined by averaging the values of each side since each side comes up equally in an infinite number of rolls, isn't important in calculating your odds for a single roll of a single check. Say you need a 12 or above to succeed, that means every value between 12 and 20 inclusive is a success. Man , the right earpiece of my glasses broke one day at school , so I just took some paper , folded it nicely and just stuffed the paper into where the attachment point is for the earpiece to the frame of the glasses , and I shit you not it worked perfectly. I used my glasses that way , for like , 3 months before I decided to get new earpieces lol.

Man I can emphasize with having Celiac Disease. About 20 years ago I was seeing all kinds of doctors about stomach problems and they thought I might have it, so they had me go 3 months without gluten. Turns out that wasn't my problem, thankfully. But I know the pain of trying to find foods that had no gluten in. Basically 95% of what you could find in grocery stores and 99% of what you could find in restaurants or other prepared food you couldn't eat. Even things that you wouldn't think would have gluten do because of cheap filler. So it was like 'I hope you like rice, vegetables and meat prepared by yourself for the rest of your life, because that's all you can have.' It's better now with everyone freaking out about gluten, but not much. I still really can't eat stuff with bread or pizza much, but at least I don't have to cut out all gluten...

I am having issues with my stomach all the time aswell and have seen several doctors, done a few checks and even tried a gluten free diet. Still getting stomach issues and I just don't know what to do anymore. It's such a pain in the neck, or rather in the stomach...

As someone with mild celiacs (basically a strong intolerance), I can definitely recommend ‘Genius’ gluten free bread. It’ll still taste better toasted, but it’s half-decent not-toasted. The other thing is that for stuff to be considered gluten free it just needs to contain less than a specific percentage of gluten (it depends on the country, where I live it’s 2%). An example of this is Cider. Cider technically DOES contain gluten, however it’s such a small amount, that even someone like myself can drink it perfectly fine. Obviously check with your doctor, and be your own judge for what works best for you, but thought I’d speak my piece! Hope it helps Zach!!

I also have gluten and dairy issues, but luckily it was identified when i was in preschool. It was definitely painful throughout elementary school and middle school, but because i started gluten and dairy free and sometimes had little splurges, I slowly get my body used to it. Now it basically doesnt do anything to me.

So, I think I know what Zach's finger thing was. It was probably just an ingrown nail that got infected, which is why when he fucked around with it the fluid ended up getting drained and the pain went away. This happens to me occasionally and I just need to use either a safety pin or a sewing needle and some rubbing alcohol to pierce the skin and drain out the fluid. In fact, this happened to me 2 weeks ago!

6:48 Idk man, I have a Pilonidal Cyst and it was super easy to get a referral and get it taken care of. I still have not gone in for surgery, though that is because I have been procrastinating. The ER was fucking annoying because, thanks to COVID, all of the nurses acted like assholes, even though my pain had me in so much pain that my blood pressure was at stroke levels. The surgeon was incredibly helpful and an easy thing to deal with though. I just really need to schedule an appointment to have surgery to get the area operated on so it hopefully doesn't come back. I even had to call later to get another antibiotic prescribed when it acted up again and had no problems. They returned my calls promptly and got it done quickly.

Glasses earpiece fix: find a paper clip, feed it through the hole and wrap it around, or if it’s a smaller screw hole, use a twist-‘‘em from a produce department and use pliers to peel off the plastic guard. Boom keeps the arm in place and lets it fold

If anyone has that floss issue where it breaks between teeth, try chewing gum or one of those thin plastic straws around it. most of the time it comes right out.

I had the same experience with the VA. I had a cyst in my wrist. After... (it's been a few years, I forget exactly) about 6-8 months, I got an appointment with a wrist doctor, over an hour away. I went there, was seen, and the doctor said, "You can cut this out, drain it, or wait it out." I said, "The reason I'm here is because 6 months ago I chose to cut it out." They said, "Okay, go to the receptionist, and we'll make an appointment for the surgery. THEY HAD ME MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, AN HOUR AWAY TO DISCUSS THE THING THEY ALREADY KNEW, AFTER HALF A YEAR. I go to the receptionist, and try to make an appointment, but I can't, because the scheduling system ONLY GOES OUT TWO MONTHS. That was in May, they called me in September, so it would have been 6 months for an appointment that, in their own words, "only takes about 15 minutes." Sorry to hear you've gotten similar experiences outside the VA. I live in a fairly unremarkable area on the outskirts of a city on the eastern half of PA, and when I need to see a doctor nearby, they're always like, "Sorry, is this urgent, or can it wait until Thursday?" for something I was looking to get checked out that Monday besides... yearly checkups usually take a couple weeks to schedule just because of the volume.

Honestly Zach, making your own bread is pretty therapeutic, and you can add your own flavour and stuff. You can make your own gluten free pizza dough and then just roll it onto a baking tray and make it a pizza then you're good. I live in a lil Welsh village and it's an hours drive the nearest supermarket (it's alot in the UK ik that's nothing in the US) so we just make our own and it's real good

Yeah same here about a year ago, try King Arthur products. Got good pancake mix, cornbread mix, & all purpose flour. Very good but pretty expensive compared to normal flour. Schär is also a good brand and sells pre made bread products. These do have a bit of an off tase but are fine when toasted. They are also a bit comparatively expensive. Except for their toaster waffles which are pretty competitively priced with normal toaster waffles, and are amazing.

Zach can just get this neat little floss pick, it’s like one of those little green ones with the wire but it’s got like a toothbrush handle on it, and I think you’re supposed to bite it to get it between your teeth. a good rule of thumb i got by if you think you want something, but are having doubts/ not 100% sure, wait 3 days if you still want it the same amount, then you actually want it if its decreased slightly, wait 3 more days for another change. you might be tired or forgot why you wanted it most times you will realize you dont really want the thing or even forget about it, which usually means you didnt think it was all that important to begin with and just went "ooooo, shiny!"
