The real issue here is Maurice and some memebers of the crew appreciate Fabi /Hikaru or someone else way too much and give Magnus less credit than he deserves . Maurice when Hikaru/Fabi wins a lost position says they are the tricky they are monsters they know how to swindle and come on top .When Magnus wins a lost position he got lucky or his opponent got nervous there. That is what annoys him the most.

Maurice started the interview by saying something along the lines of "Magnus is the king of the blitz tournament today, not that that means anything." Because they were playing a different portion of the tournament now. But you could see Magnus's eye twitch, because it sounded a bit like Maurice was saying Magnus's win or blitz ability had no meaning in general. So the second questionable comment by Maurice set him off, and is probably why Magnus admonished him for "belittling the whole thing."
