I was about to say the same thing! I think he meant 90°, therefore cut the 2 pieces of wood at 45°, but since it's Blake I'm not certain...

@hermanmunster33584 жыл бұрын
I would love to play with Blske's wood too Geoffwy. Well first George, we're gonna sing a song, and its all about wood, its called the "ham shank song" Oh good, I'm all excited Geoffrey, hahahshaha. Alright Zippy, calm the fuck down, jesus wept! Anybody would think you were repressed in some way! Bungle, will you ask Jane if she will join us, and ask her to get her maracas out, its been a long long time since she has played with them? Alright Geoffrey. Now you can join in too children at home, just ask your mum, or your dad if they can find some sort of musical instrument you can play on, it could be a flute, a trumpet, or you could ask your mum to stretch some cloth, very tightly over her mixing bowl, and bang it, bang it like a pro.

Good job Henry. For being the first time that came up pretty good! I like Blake's foldable legs idea. Possible alternative: fold them downwards next time, so that it can still stand up with shortened legs, given the folded part would increase their height and level out the main beam. This way you can put it in a corner, but vertical and will still stand by itself :D

Love the work guys, but Blake, hinges - you should have oriented them so that when loaded the bike pushes the hinge shut - that way the risk of structural failure is reduced! Henry, nice try, but mate how you going to play swingball with a bird feeder and bike in the way?!

Bodge challenge, both get a snapped mech hanger and you have to try and fix the hanger and shifting as good as possible.you can not replace the hanger with a new or similar hanger if you have them in your shop or not.you are aloud to weld and stuff and you can try to use a dramatically different hanger to try and bodge. We will need to test how well the bike shifts and a strength test on how much pressure it can withstand

Park work stand costs £120 second hand, £100 your takin the xxxx . New about £250 basic one as they great bits of kit. Am planning similar based on Park Stand from 3 x 2 and 2 x 4 and 12 mm ply as well. Want folding legs but will use heavy duty gate hinges and maybe a tool tray , if you can fix a bike should be able to build a work stand. Do a wee drawing first too get idea planned but be flexible on it.

I think I'll need to build one similar to Henry's, but it sucks to be living below sea level.... Attaching a wind vane to my prospect project may not be a viable option. But maybe mounting a small board or something to attach solar-powered motion sensor lights on... Hmmmm.
