Thank you for sharing with us your knowledge concerning the problems that are devouring Oromo society and help us understand the historical perspective in our struggle for our freedom. As both of you have mentioned the problem of Oromo is not a population size, but the lack of political, cultural self-awareness as a result of culture erosion which have been overtime eroded our confidence, our unity and our self-esteem. Cultural self-awareness is important; it helps us understand our own cultural background and how it influences our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Having a strong sense of cultural and political self-awareness can help us build stronger, more respectful relationships with ourselves. By reflecting on our own cultural background, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our values, leading to personal growth and self-awareness. Losing ourselves in the pages of history allows us to see a different path forward and show that we can overcome our troubles.
