What size hole bit did you use for the master cylinder

1988-94 doesn't have the bracket welded in the dash but 95+ does because it's literally the round dash like your 96 parts truck, but 88-95 use the same clutch bracket with the 2 bolts holding master cylinder while 96-98+ have the twist lock master cylinder. Good video tho!

That helped me visualize what I need to do. Will your original driveshafts work or are they a different length too.

Mine worked. Manual trans was about 3” shorter. But the overall t case/transmission length was within a half inch.

@@corbinbruzzese749 clutch pedal and bracket was out of an 89, I did not use the bracket above the dash, I took off the wiper cowl, drilled holes and bolted the bracket in that way with a series of washers.

I have a 90 Silverado 1500 I’m converting from auto to 4 speed. I will be using a hydraulic system. What clutch pedal out of what year truck do I need to buy? Another video shows a Wildwood clutch pedal and slave cylinder but the Wildwood clutch pedal appears to be shorter then the brake pedal.

I see on eBay you can get a used oem clutch pedal and bracket for around $200. The oem style has been working very good in my truck so far.

Is it possible to convert a ‘88-‘94 clutch pedal bracket to accept that ‘96+ twist lock master cylinder?

It might be best to swap the bracket out for the newer style I see the brackets on eBay for around $200.
