Go around / Touch and go in a Cessna 172 SP / KTIW

Less virtual, more reality :) Started flight lessons, using Prepar3d with DK2 - Pilot Edge and Xplane 10 with Track IR to practice at home. This is a LOT of fun, and the sim / VR flying has been a big help with learning :) Will make a comparison video of real life to VR flight soon.

so you are flying for real now ?)) Respect . I onlly fly in warthunder for the last 2 years ) About DK2 oculus rift - i.ve seen it in ebay for about 300-400 pounds , thinking about bying it.

THE79SOL Thanks! It is as much fun as I thought it would be (but you don't get to shoot at anything :) ). Both DCS (free download and has free P51) and War Thunder work great on the DK2. I've heard some people say their body seems too large in War Thunder, but I'm 6'3" and have a wide IPD, so it seems correct to me. Valve has announced the Vive which is supposed to be even better and going on sale for sure this year according to them. Hoping to demo that soon to see if all the hype is true. For these types of games (flying, racing) VR will be the best way to play.

mdbuehler "_but you don't get to shoot at anything :_ " LOL ) I was looking how much in UK cost lessons and exam for privet pilot license and it comes with price around "10.000" pounds :((( the price is big difference to the another license - *counterbalance* and *reachtruck* Fork-lift - i recently received , i did pay for both - only 520 ))) So , for the nearest future - ill stay on ground ) About _"say their body seems too large"_ - Yes , i heard that is true . The people got feeling that their head above the root of cockpit o_O ? Also , the distance to the ground seems different . example :1000 km , but eye can "feel" only 10-50 meters . But , still , everyone says - DK2 - this is "must have" device . So iam going to by it anyway. Sorry for mistakes , good luck in sky, mate )
