The animation/story part of this game is sooo well done . It is pretty good explanatory without using any words . But would love to know the story in slightly detail/easy language , especially the pig/spider one . The music is amazing btw . One of the best game so far this year .

I only watch Go east for this moment and loving it. So refreshing for me. It is such a relieve, after trying to watch several dramas before and failed. For me, Tan jianci is an actor that brave enough to try different roles. In early episodes, his comedic act is able to made me laugh. I hope there will be a very good character development later. I am really looking forward for your review on this, X 😊. And regarding Zhang Hao Wei, he is also the main supporting roles in "love has fireworks", which i've been really looking forward to. I gave up on Lost You Frower 2. I couldn't find a drama to watch after The Double. Yesterday, Go East was surprisingly released without being announced. I watched 10 episodes and I can say that it is the best drama after The Double. A child's growing up story. It's not a comedy, it's a light comedy adventure movie. I enjoy watching the movie, the actors are good. Tan JianCi proved his good acting again. I recommend it to everyone

I'm looking forward to watching my favorite HaoYan CP (Hao Du x Li Le Yan from "The Long Ballad") in "The Story of Pearl Girl". I just hope those internet trolls will not harass Liu Yu Ning too much when the drama airs, even though it's very unlikely. They keep on saying that he only gets roles because someone with money is backing him, which is definitely not the case because he only has his own little studio to rely on, along with his good reputation. What breaks my heart the most is that they always degrade him by saying he's just an "internet celebrity", he doesn't deserve to be the ML, but we fans know that he started from the bottom, playing the second/third lead for the past 5 years before he acted in his very first ML role in "A Journey to Love" (2023). Liu Yu Ning has worked so hard to get to where he is today and he's definitely deserving of all the good fortune that comes his way.

Reminds me of him in Hi6 and his old livestreams when he was way more lively (he is forced to be a quite a bit more reserved now that he is more popular). And in terms of the drama, you eventually will get the sense that Yuan Mo’s comedic expression is just a cover for an underlying sadness that he is trying to mask.

At first watch, i thought tan jianci comedic expressions is a bit too expressive, but maybe because i was too immersed in his roles in lost you forever before, so it took me by suprised. After rewatch, i already enjoyed it and found it refreshing. And i love how he is brave enough to choose different roles, instead of cool idol characters. I trust his understanding of the character depth as usual, since the director also approved his Yuanmo. I just really hope there will be an good character development until the end for Yuanmo. So far, it is my fav drama for now.

I can understand not having a TV for over a decade. We did that too, but now as an old lady, I've got three of them around the house. Thanks2020. Right now I'm watching FOUR different dramas. I had three dramas going, but then I watched this video tonight and up I jumped shouting, "Oh! I can't wait to watch this new one that just started today, so now I'm going to search Heaven and Earth to find it!" Four dramas at a time in different parts of the house? You bet. As for gaming....I'm not there yet. Zhao Lusi may look different next year as the surgery settles down. If you watch enough K-dramas or K-pop you'll notice the obvious parts of the surgery. Tan Jianci's supporting characters were quite nice and interesting but not as a a main role (with exception to Under The Skin). Most probably because of the script.

Yamen is a local government office that houses the magistrate, constabulary, records office, etc. Sort of like a modern city hall, court, and police station combined. Dalisi is the equivalent of the modern supreme court that reviews appealed cases but doesn't take lawsuits directly. It also collaborates with other justice departments to investigate really big cases (e.g. involving royalty). But yes, it would be really interesting to have a video explaining all the various levels of imperial government (six ministries, commanderies/prefectures, counties, etc.)

Far from being an amazing drama and there are many flaws, but I'm not bored and Xin Zhilei and Johnny Huang have a really good chemistry. As a hard core fan of Xin Zhilei, I'm glad every time there's a watchable drama with her haha! Which unfortunately is not often enough. She's a highly talented actress but I don't know if it's because she's not getting great offers and end up choosing projects by default or she herself has a poor instinct for choosing projects but she's rarely in great stuff :/

Not surprised by Lusi's new look, The hate she got in every level, Fat shaming, height issues and bulbous nose was weird. Lusi had the face which the camera loved..... black myth wukong is HARD if you are not used to playing games. the game expect you to learn the boss which can take hours. how the developer expect the "average" player who ain't that good is to do the hidden content, they usually provide an item or new transformation that make the boss less of a murderbot. i recommend you use a guide for both how to fight and where to find hidden content. getting frustated with a boss for hours is not really something casual player will enjoy... =]

I love crime dramas. Midway through the juvenile justice one For the Young Ones on IQIYI finished the ridiculous romance lawyer drama My Boss on Viki which actually surprised me by not descending into trash. I even liked the ending. It Fit the character (second couple is the best couple but eh)

I gave Go East a chance, but gave up after the third episode, despite my best efforts to get hooked. .... I have no problem with the acting. In fact, I really like JC-T, Wei Zixin, and the supporting characters like the fat guy. My biggest problem is with the plot itself and the female lead: I can't stand that kind of character. Later in the series Yuan Mo will go adventuring to other countries with the team as envoy/ambassador and solve bigger problems, including the mystery behind the death of his parents (probably to do with deep-set corruption and traitorous activity amongst the higher ups in court). It’s clear that right now Yuan Mo is putting on a pretense - his is pretending to be weak and carefree at the moment. As for the FL… well, Yuan Mo knows she’s up to something (she entered the country illegally), he can’t just let her go like that. It’s a matter of capturing her and throwing her out of the country or finding out about her and what she’s up to - I believe that Yuan Mo has his suspicions about her (and he’s choosing to appear weak in front of her - i.e. not revealing that he might actually quite capable in terms of martial poweress)

Ah I like the FL...she's exhibits survival mode, and I love that she doesn't rely on the ML for it. Of course she gets into a lot of trouble and created burdens for the ML, but that's the character setup for her growth. Looking forward to how she overcomes these shortcomings. ☺️

If it wasn't a light comedy movie, I could have left the movie because of Fl. But it's a comedy movie so I didn't get hung up on it and even enjoyed it. You can't understand it in the first 3 episodes, the series starts after the 3rd episode. The prison episode was great, definitely continue watching. I couldn't find a movie to watch after The Double. Sifangguan is the best series of the last months.

I have a question. I have been watching chinese dramas for 4-5years now and have watched many dramas set in the 1900-1950s, like The Rebel, War of faith, Rookie agent, or The Lonely hero's journey or In the name of the brother etc. Ignoring the dramas like Rattan or Snowfall or may be Lost in Kunlun, most of the dramas are usually political fights between the 2 chinese parties and the japanese. And in all dramas it is always the communist members trying to infiltrate the other 2 parties or are already hidden and collecting and transferring information. Why are all these dramas set the same way? Is there any drama where the main story highlights the other way? From watching dramas I understood that in 1930-50s, communist party was ruling in some parts of china. Why aren't the stories set from those angle?

Because the nationalistic narrative is that the communist party is the underdog good guys while other two parties are the domineering bad guys. China will not allow a different narrative that may cast the communist party in a bad light. Well, I guess in a general sense it was true that the communist party were the underdogs at the start - they didn’t have as much money or as large an army as the other party who ruled majority of China that they can go head to head in a fair fight, so the communist party then mainly used guerrilla and infiltration tactics to defeat their foes.

10 episodes were released, the first 4 episodes had fast scene transitions. It got better in the following episodes. It's a fun series, I was prejudiced at first. After the fourth episode, I liked the plot. It's a series where I experience all kinds of emotions, it's fun and full of adventure. It's the story of a child who lost his family growing up. There's also diplomacy after the 10th episode. I recommend it.

Because some controversy is attached to the game - there’s talk that the game developers had sexist company policies and some of them have allegedly posted sexist comments. I think there’s also talk about maybe one of the game developers having expressed potentially anti-Chinese comments (although this allegation seems weaker than the sexist allegations). Chinese netizens think that celebrities should avoid publicly associating themselves with controversy - it might appear as if they support their sexist (or anti-China) stance if they show support for the game. The thought is that they can play the game in private if they really wanted to, but shouldn’t publicly express their support for a potentially problematic game.

I think this is the last time I will give this content creator my last benefit of the doubt. I also came from an Asian country and I believe most Asian countries have one defining toxic character and that is we like to look down or not give credit that is due if that person did not have the same educational background as us because such hierarchy still exists. I notice Avenue X likes to praise actors with good educational backgrounds and deem them to be better actors just because they graduated from Beijing Academy or Shanghai Academy, but she forgets that even if they have such backgrounds doesn’t mean they are the best because Arts is not like Math or Science with definite answers. Art is about what touches you personally, who conveys the emotions that you can relate to and who acts in a way that can make you relate to them more. Notice how more international audience appreciates Zhao Lusi’s acting more and she is criticized in her own country by her own people. It’s because we don’t see her as a graduate of this school or that school, but rather we see her as an actress who have touched us or gave us a moment of joy by the way she acts. When she was chubby she was criticized non-stop for being chubby even though she was just a 20 year old young woman who is still maybe not reaching her peak beauty. Now that she is 25 and discovering her womanhood you are criticizing her for a kind of beauty that doesn’t meet your standard. When she did so great in Love Like the Galaxy you only notice how good Wu Lei was because he is a graduate of Beijing school. When she basically made an international name for Hidden Love to the point that it became comparable if not even higher than most Korean Dramas, you criticized her show as pedophile when in fact it was just a simple story about innocent crush to simple but real type of love. But when it comes to actresses such as the Beijing Princesess who have really not proven themselves as actors who can carry a drama by themselves you never criticize any of their work. Why? Because you carry with you an Asian trait that is if they have great economic or political backing they can do no wrong. The lead in Blossoms in Adversity doesn’t she also have a strong backing? If I am not mistaken she has 2 of the strongest actress abf actor backing her that’s why all her dramas are top notch in terms of production. But here is a woman who constantly try to better herself because at first you say she is too chubby and now that she is thinner she is too regular, normal and nothing memorable because she just looks like an internet celebrity. Well guess what that plain looking celebrity might just be the actress that can take Chinese drama and make it at least comparable to Korean Drama, but instead of uplifting her you always mock her and her work, but now even her looks just because again she is not scholarly enough for you or doesn’t have the background that you deem high class. You are not objective with your criticism. You allow your personal bias to cloud your opinion.
