Momotaro is very handsome and well built. He is strong and also graceful. His movements are very fluid. He knows what he wants and what he likes and he expresses it though his actions. I love this family and wish they had a larger compound. I am happy for the multi levels that keep this family in good shape physically.

Momotaro was so cute hanging on so he wouldn’t get wet. His back is so broad. He really gets his exercise in. He looks so young compared to Shabani and Haoko in the cover photo. Japan has some great silverbacks

Momo has more dexterity with his fingers than I do anymore. 🥹 I love how when he picks up tiny pieces of something to eat from the dirt he will always shake it in his partially closed fist to shake off the dirt. He looks like a gambler getting ready to roll the dice. It’s so cute.

As well as Genki, Momotaro is in good spirits and has a great appetite. Even on a rainy day, Momotaro is eager to look for his food on the ground or the ceiling. Tomorrow would be could. Just for info: Haoko and Shabani are brothers. Momotaro is not related to them at all; he is the son of Momoko prior to her pairing with Haoko at Ueno Zoo.

Amo las 3 familias cada una tiene su encanto pero me derrite DJEICO parece mamá y papá eso bebes lo adoran los ama Jabalí y Ringo disfrutan con el hasta la comida le quita se rien a carcajadas jugando con su.padre amoroso Sabanis es muy bello muy muy protector de su familia es tan ágil impresionante verlo caminar erecto tan rápido escalar las cuerdas crío a Annis con amor y dedicación protege a Nene para q no la olesten juega con Kiyosama pero se impone Momotaro es tan pasivo pero observador de su familia mantiene el control y a Gentaro pero se preocupa mucho por su hijo cuando no ha salido Gentaro lo busca y cuando Momo enfermo Gentaro estaba desesperado velando a su padre y estaba triste Kintaro ha crecido tanto bello y ágil como recoge comida con tanta agilidad Genki vive su mundo sola pero muy recuperada amamos estas familias felicitamos a los q nos envían estas bellísimas publicaciones

Gorillas do not seem to care for wet ground. They probably don't like having all that sand stick to their feet which then ends up inside. I think the zoo should invest in some door mats so they can wipe their feet before going in. They could have one custom made to say "The Momotaro's", lol.

DJ esta en Taiwán. Haoko, Shabani y Momotaro están en Japón, alrededor de todo el mundo existen gorilas asombrosos, creo que mencionan a estos tres porque están en Japón. Además creo que DJ tiene un peso menor que ellos.

I think Big Mo and Shabani are pretty close to same weight, Haoko probably no more than 15 or 20 pounds heavier.

Some information you may be interested in regarding Haoko. In Apr/22, 1 month before the birth of Sumomo, he weighed 507 pounds. As you may know the birth was successful but there was a problem with the mother's health afterwards. During that time, mother and daughter, were separated from the troop. During the separation Haoko was agitated & lost much weight. When the troop was reunited in July/22, his weight was 463 pounds. In June/23 his weight was 498 pounds. I have not seen a weight on him since, however, visually he looks much bigger. The official weight from Highashiyama Zoo that I've seen on Shabani was in Jan/23 weighing 453 pounds, and I haven't seen a weight since. Of course, I don't watch his troop but occasionally. 🦍🦍

Yes, you are right, he gets more strength training every day more than most. Look at Djeeko and Hoako, they are bigger than Momotaro, and they just sit all day. My bet would be on Momotaro if there was a fight.

On oublie souvent le dos argenté d' jeeco . Un papa extraordinaire avec ses fils et ces femelles . Que ce soit chez shabani momotaro haoco jamais je n ai vue ca .d jeeco est exceptionnel et aussi magnifique.Apres ils sont tout les 4 tres beaux avec chacuns leurs personnalitées et comportements .pour moi le plus beau serait shabani suivi de momotaro qui est tres gracieux par rapport a shabani . ❤❤❤❤
