Most impressive part for me is you don’t even look like you’re rushing or trying to go particularly fast, just very efficient

Fast is sloppy.

Fast and good pack job, only issue I have here is the second s fold and the lines going deep in to the canopy. Potential line burn.

Impressive. Never seen one done so quickly and easily.

Good luck buddy! I’d say worry about packing closer to ur A license though..

Did you start AFF? Looks like it’s been a month since you commented, just wanted to know how it’s going because I’ll be doing it in the spring :)

Nice clean and fast pack job. All these haters in the comments aren't linking a video to their own pack job. You had that guy distracting you and you had to find a packing tool. The flakes looked clean too so it probably opened nice. Blue skies

Bob Dylan thanks brotha I appreciate the kind words! I’ve packed that way for 1000 jumps and no malfunctions off it

What is your opinion on single/double stows on the locking stows vs the rest of stows? Looks like you single the locks and double the rest. Ive been double stowing everything… good video!
@bumpvision1634 ай бұрын
I like to single stow anything through a grommet.. Its seems irrational to double stow the grommets.

Well done and efficient. I see so many people taking forever to pack. It is a main, not a reserve pack.

Reasonably quick, yes - fastest in the world - definitely not. Beginners need to properly clear the stabilizer before placing the slider. Don't pull as much material into the cone as it pulls the D lines around the pack job. Don't stuff the tip of the cone deep into the packjob - it prematurely destroys the topskin from friction on deployment. The reverse-s folding method shown is generally not recommended by most manufacturers because the air you squeeze out of the canopy can push the slider off the stops - increasing the chance of a hard opening. I'd say this is a bad example for beginners. Please refer to the manufacturers for good beginner instructions.

thanks for the feedback.. i have changed a few methods. Your correct about the stuffing the cone into the packjob to deep which would create fiction.. thanks for the advice i now position the tip of the cone facing out towards the top, which entails locks the grommets possibly for a clean deployment stage. a few people have mention that actually
