On my band bus, I’ve been using f6/ProQ3 to take out 3-5db around 700hz, but only in the middle! Gives the vocal a perfect cushion to sit in the mix!

That's awesome! I've done this type of thing before on studio work, but I haven't actually gotten around to trying it when mixing live. I'm sure it's great!
