As a 19 year old who’s been overweight most of my life I needed this video. I have not accomplished much in my life, but to every standard I do not live a difficult one. This video showed me how good I actually have it. And how much I must improve myself. I’m going to lose the weight. I’m going to be able to post a photo on Instagram without being self conscious about my weight. I’m going to be able to support my mother and my family as I grow older. I’m going to do it all. Thank you for posting this video. Update: I’ve been going really hard in the gym these last couple months, was hitting amazing strides but then COVID hit and shut everything down, minor setback and now I’m on a major comeback. Since the start of the year I’m down 25 pounds and am getting closer and closer to my goal! :)

When I was in hospital 11 years ago my mother looked over at those people in rehab who had lost limbs & were training to do things again as she reminded me that there was someone worse off than me. Regardless of what I was told I would get better again !!! Yes I did too !!!! After you take those first few steps, anything is possible.

Raising his voice a little to make a point. He truly taught me I need to be more grateful. I have grown up in a super wealthy family. I thought many people had what I did, but they don't. Never give up on your dreams, I grew up in Honduras, a third world country, went to a public school, where we wouldn't have class sometimes for weeks because teachers weren't getting paid by the government, I wanted to become a teacher, but never in my wildest I thought I could be one in the United States, and sure enough I did, I came to the United States when I was 15, graduated from HS, went to college. I was the first one from my family to go to college. I currently work as a Spanish teacher at a public school in NJ and as an adjunct professor at a college, and I am also pursuing a Phd in Second Language Acquisition research. You can accomplish your goals if you work hard for them.

Once i fell down of a roof from 4 meters with speed from sliding and i landesd on my legs, i fucked them up. It was my fault. I was dumb. I hated my self. I tought it was the worst day of my life.
