I too want to walk more. I’ve done less the last couple of years (recently found my stats on my Fitbit for past 6 yrs) but with a puppy that should easily increase. I’m aiming for over 70,000 a week rather than 10,000 a day as I’ve noticed I have days of up to 20,000 so feel like I do loads but the reality is I also have 3,000 days too so need to be more consistent. Just turned 50 so I really need to pull my finger out and do more movement. I was good for 9 months last year doing a little yoga, weights and hiit most days (only 20-30 mins a day but felt much better). Reading has started well but want to do most days. Really want to meditate (have calm app) and don’t understand why I don’t fit it in. Would like to journal (I do a quick diary and gratitude each day), who do you follow for prompts? I loooove stationery and love to plan. I’m just not great at executing those plans 🤦‍♀️

Hi Katie! Loved your video - these all sound like very achievable habits. I'm a big water drinker, but totally get that people find it hard. A couple of tips would be if you find it boring have squash/flavoured water - and remember that loads of foods are super high in water too. One of my main goals for the year is my reading target! I almost read 45 books last year (my goal was 40), so my goal for this year is 45, and I'm hoping I can beat it again! x

Hi Katie! You have very similar goals to me this year too. I want to try and drink more water that is always one and also walk more too. I also have one where I want to bench press my personal best at the gym too after getting into the gym last year. Thanks for this video the fitbit looks great! xx

Ooh good luck with your gym goal I wish I could stick to the gym but I’m so sporadic with it. And good luck with your water and walking goals too. The Fitbit is a brilliant motivator. X

Love these. I very much need to work on me. My mental health is really poor at present. So I want to look at ways of prioritising me.

I loved to hear your goals, not just because I’m a kind of person just like you (I love a good stationary and so), but also because I am thinking to buy a new fitbit. If you love yoga and Pilates I’m sure you Will love this channel Yoga with Adrienne. She has, every january a 30 day yoga challenge, which is great!

Good New Year goals! I also have trouble sleeping which started as a shift worker as a nurse. I believe routine is the best tool. And I agree that walking the dog is a great way to exercise- you always feel better when you return- and then the dog naps! I have been thinking of getting a Fitbit. Good luck with your goals!
