Hi. Lovely looking curry. Superb texture. I follow your videos regularly. I am curious about this particular recipe. Mostly I have heard Hindu Goans call curry as Hooman and Catholics call it Kodi. Salan is an Urdu word. And I have heard some Goan Muslims use Urdu words in the Konkani they speak. Is this a recipe of the Goan Muslim community? I have seen some fish curry recipes of the 'Kokni' speaking Muslim community of Konkan in Maharashtra. They also use tomatoes. So I got curious. Please shed some light on this one? thanks.

Thanks! Some Konkan speaking use the word salan Also Ambat, kadi, salan, randayi, hooman etc all stand for the name curry 😍
