Im korean and i practically live off gochujang 😂 this exact recpipe but with a spoon of peanutbutter adds another dimension makes it feel like thai food!

Looks delicious, as a Korean I grew up on these ingredients from my mom's cooking. Gonna have to try this one CPM.

My Gochujang sauce is similar ro yours... I use soy sauce, honey, sesame oil and rice vinegar instead of the lime. Recently I made a shrimp stir fry and used Hoisin Sauce instead of honey... Wow!

Thanks Mike for another great recipe. Used this recipe for a base but did make some changes but it turned out awesome. Didn't add all the peppers but added cashew nuts, chicken, & an onion & it turned out awesome. Another keeper that is for sure.

Since seeing your "Spicy Noodles" recipe some time ago I make this similar dish at least every other week, changing up the peppers, other veggies and proteins with what I have on hand. I also always add the Hot Crispy Oil you had in previous recipe....very addictive. I usually bulk it up a bit with carrots, celery, cabbage etc.. Looking forward to using the Honey and lime juice you have in this recipe. I haven't tried Shrimp yet either so will get after it again this coming week. Absolutely one of my favorite dishes. You did warn us that it would be. :) Thank you so much, I love getting your newsletters, reading and trying your delicious recipes. Great stuff Mike!!!

I finally used the gochjang paste I've had sitting in the fridge a few months and made this recipe. It turned out great. I had wide rice noodles and topped it all with some stir-fried broccoli and bok choy I had kicking around. It is a new flavor to me and was delicious. The sauce spread easily over the noodles. I will buy the large tub of gochujang paste next time, as this recipe is a keeper. Thank you!

That looks so awesome . Such a beautiful rich color. The thick gooeyness (Not sure if that's a word) of the sauce which clings to the noodles.😋 Looks so perfect & I can almost taste it. Thank you for doing such a great job at teaching us the what & how of creating meals. 😊

I appreciate Amazon for ingredients, but I really prefer to go into a store. Asian stores aren’t always convenient however. We have a decent one nearby, but I miss Oyujumai (spelling 😂😂) in Beaverton Oregon. It has a great assortment of center store items but also great fresh vegetables (all sorts of eggplants, fresh kafir leaves, all of the Asian root herbs and vegetables) and Asian cuts of meat. Man I miss that store.

When I make this I cook the chicken halfway, stir well, then thickly layer sliced Korean rice cakes on top, turn the heat down very low and continue cooking until the chicken is done, top with cheese, then pop on the lid with the heat turned off while the cheese melts.

Just passing this along. For those of you who eat alotof asian dishes andlike your siritake/kpmjac noodles, massive shortages are starting to appear. about a month ago, one of my local asian stores told me to start buying up what i could because they aren't getting any.i went yesterday and they have been out, keep ordering, can't get any. two other stores were out so i hit one last store, along the vein of 99 fish market and they had a few packs so i bgouht 3.. i am being told by various managers and store owners probably a good idea to buy what you can now. other shortages right now include olive oil dried fruits canned fruits canned veggies and now i am hearing a sugar shortage is coming. most people blow me off but understand, if the items are in demand, but not many are offered, the prices go way up but the alternatives will also be disappearing as eeryone shifts to other products! something to keep in mind ii am in north county san diego..

I discovered Gochujang Sauce a few months ago. I cook with it a lot, Just made a similar dish with crumbled tofu, a little broccoli and carrots as well as bell pepper. I was worried that my Cambodian family wouldn’t like it. They licked their plates.
