I make a very similar sauce in advance. I use a form of udon noodles. This is one of my favorite go-to easy and quick dishes. I always top with a sunny-side-up egg and break the yolk into the noodles to make them creamier. Thanks for making this video! It's now in my recipes directory!

I think a better option than spaghetti is to use two or three packs of store bought instant ramen noodles (just don't add the seasoning packets). IMO, spaghetti is a much more smooth noddle, and made of salmonella, which also has a different chew texture.

@@fialee8 Hi 👋 You certainly can use ramen noodles. I would only use fresh ramen noodles (not instant ramen noodles). Yes, Italian pasta is so delicious because it is made with semolina flour. I also used spaghetti noodles and other Italian pastas with this recipe, and it turned out great. Italian spaghetti noodles (cooked past al-dente) are a great substitution for our friends that do not have access to Korean markets.

Could you please explain the spaghetti/salmonella link?

@@KryCaNe I believe the previous commenter meant “semolina flour” for Italian pasta🤷♀️
