God, I Lost Myself...

Even with the most loving family, friends, and God, I managed to lose myself somewhere along the way. This is the story of how He put me back.
I shared this in last week's Haven service as well, where we dwelt much on the love of God - • GREATLY BELOVED - Have...
11 years ago started a deep, ungodly longing, fueled by the world and my own flesh. This longing ate up much in me, without my knowledge, destroying a lot of good in its path. It's crazy how a secure, loved person like me, independent and strong in the Lord, can still fall into a deep pit like this, and not even know much about it.
You may have looked at me and thought I have everything I could ever need, and you would be right. Little did I know I had lost myself.
Prayer is great, 'coz you not only connect yourself to your Creator, but you great free, real deep Counseling. You won't see things the same when He speaks. He did this for me. I pray, if you need it, He does so for you too. God bless.

3 weeks ago i experienced the same...i realized that i lost myself...i had been with this kind of pain for the last 8 months..no sleep, no proper food,a big gap,no proper communication even with my family,loneliness...god showed me thru a dream that i was trapped..i woke up suddenly and i realized that i was emotionally caught up...i wept and i asked God's help on that night...next day i was inspired by holy spirit to do 40 days fasting...it's my 17th day...i found improvement in my self..God's been amazingly working on me...by his grace, i am doing well now...praise God...thanks for sharing ur story vihan

I've lost myself and pieces of personality for the last 10 years. I've been dealing with depression and anxiety which has really affected my mind and my physical health, not to mention socializing and friendships. I hope and pray that I can have the hole and void in my soul and heart healed by Jesus. Your faithfulness is inspiring and encouraging. By the way, you already looked very healthy and beautiful (I'm saying this from my heart, not just as an encouragement) but with a healed soul that gratifies by and values the Word of her maker, I don't know how much more beautiful you're going to look. That was very beautifully said Vihan. It is true that we all have a gaping hole and most of our physical lifestyles is a reaction to this spiritual gaping hole. Vihan, i am happy this video is 12 months Old. To all my Sisters who feel this and struggle. Let us not look inward: there is Positive and Negative Pride. Both are evil. Positive Project Strength outwards. Negative Project vulenrabilty inwards. Both causes one to be blind of ones truth and purpose, and gifts, instead lead one on on this Journey of Mirage. If Jesus is the way to Truth, the devil is the way to lies. The bait that devil needs to work is pride of the flesh, or the heart. Let us be like children. In this world we will have pain, rejection, sickness, sorrow, and Loss. There is something greater than all this: a life Surrendered to Jesus. Let us pray. For about a year I had a sickness in the flesh. I surrendered it to Jesus, like a child gives his candy to his father, and says hold on to it, and forgets. One good day, in my shower, I realized, I was healed. I didnt want to believe it, and forgot all about it. We forget but God never Forget his Childrens Concern or Cry. So my dear daughter, give all pain into the hands of Jesus: Our Father, and say Hold On to it for me, and free your mind off its for a moment, in my case a season. The Lord can do miracles with his beautiful wounded hands. Be Blessed

I admire that you didn't use food but am curious about how? What were you filling yours with if it wasn't delicious food? Or do you just have really good self control? Or...? Also wanted to say that God may be preparing someone really special for you. You are one of the strongest believers that I know, and God will probably give you someone just as strong :) BUT because you are quite strong and obedient in God, and helping so many of us grow in our love of God, maybe he jealously wants to keep you for himself ;) 1 Corinthians 7:34 - "and his interests are divided. And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband." And 1 Corinthians 7:38 "...and he who refrains from marriage will do even better."

I know how you feel about the relationship thing I'm currently still getting over mine over 5 years ago still it's hard to deal with when people were betraying you left and right at the same time and it's made me the shut in that I am now, it's hard to change I'm not like how I use to be. I have to deal with so many things within myself just when I make a simple prayer the spiritual and mental battle I have to fight is almost un ending one day I hope God blesses me and just fix me. I look for his forgiveness the peace that surpasses all understanding but yet to have found it. Still though my only advice is to put Jehovah first in all the things you do I know it's hard to be alone but would you rather learn how to put your faith and happiness on God who will never fell you once you've learned how to or on flesh that will always fall short? This is how I reason with myself sometimes I wish I could change the mindset but I know if I just go around looking for some woman what happiness would that truly bring me? Women are beautiful but not the answer for me right now and I can't afford to take shortcuts anymore I've messed up too much in life. Sorry I wish I made more sense but I guess you just got me opening up but standfast, Jehovah's kingdom will come and free us from sin just continue the fight a little while longer freedom is almost at hand,and I will do the same to try and follow my own advice.

As god said you're fearfully and wonderfully made. Humans opinions shouldn't matter to us (Proverbs 29:25) whatever negative comes from others is from the devil! As written in the Bible he is the father of lies. God is a wonderful artist he has created such beautiful mountains, the sky, the nature and then he chose to create YOU! Just think how special you are! God loves you the way you are, saying you don't like the way you look is saying you don't like what God has done.
