It was established in GoW 2018 that there are different gods and dominant forces for each region and culture, and that it was possible, by having the means and power, to visit these other parts of the world. That is how Tyr learned about Kratos and other foreign deities on other parts of the world.

The more I watch this, the more I realize that Kratos gave almost all of the gods he killed a chance to back off. With Hercules he tells them this isn’t between them and gives him many chances to back away. He has no ill will towards Hephaestus at all until he tries to kill him. With Hermes he straight-up tells him he’s not worth his time. He didn’t hurt Hera until she taunted him about Pandora. Poseidon, Hades, and Helios all challenged him directly first. And Helios Kratos likely may have spared if he had actually tried to help him. Almost everyone who Kratos fought and killed started it, whether by antagonizing him or challenging him. If they had all just left him alone and didn’t get in his way, they all likely would have been just fine.
