What I'm thinking is that Kratos couldn't die because he'd killed Hades and kind of absorbed his soul in GOWIII. I think it's something like the valkyries- without a proper God of the Underworld, a soul like Kratos just couldn't be ripped away from its mortal body, so he just didn't die. The thing is while I accept this as being true, it brings up another question. Where would the Shovel Knight realm be in the GOW universe? Considering the mountains to the north and the dense pine forests to the south, it would likely be in a dimensional shift realm between the Celtic, Arthurian, and Norse realms, due to the themes found in the game, like the knights, of course, the magic and monsters similar to Arthurian and Celtic legend, and Polar Knight, a literal hulk of a Viking (maybe he's a cartoonish version Thrymr, considering he's a Jotun worshiped by Frost giants who lives alone in the mountains.). Heck there's even necromancy via witchcraft with Scepter Knight, alluding more the Celtic mythos. So Kratos before entering the Norse realm must had found himself in this realm before traveling to Midgard.

Hey Kaptain Kuba I think I know how Kratos got to Norse, I know this video was uploaded over a year ago and you may have a different theory but I’m almost positive that Skoll and Hati Took Kratos to Norway. There was a mysterious woman I believe and if it wasn’t a woman it was most likely Tyr since he was one of the only ones who can travel to other mythologies with the Unity Stone and if it was a woman then it was most likely Faye. I believe one of your theory videos say that Faye has a bit of a Connection to Tyr and obviously the giants so I also believe that theory.

Ares gave The Blades of Chaos to kratos when he made the deal with him. Athena gave kratos The Blades of Athena after I guess he lost the BoC when ares died. (That nightmare fight vs a bunch of kratoses) Athena transformed the BoA into The Blades of Exile In Gow 3 Not sure if the BoC transformed into BoA or BoE or vice versa. It sounds weird.

He is no longer in Greek lands and waters. It would be stupid for her to continue to harrass him. She is the only 'god' left there and there's nothing stopping her. IMO and theory there is only ONE pair of chained blades. The Blades of Chaos. While Ares was alive, no other god could influence the blades. Once he died, ony gods who were powerful enough could. It's also said that once Ares is dead, then he can remove the chains. Athena could only transform and imbue them thereafter. Changing them once and renaming them (Blades of Athena) and then again by repairing/transforming them into the Blades of Exile. It is likely that Zues' destruction of all the other weapons was only powerful enough to take all of the power out of them, making them revert to the original Blades of Chaos form. She did NOT transform them back. The visions of Athena and Zeus in Helheim are just that. They are simple nods to the previous 7 games.

I got this theory where Kratos is Tyr since it is already hinted that time travel is involved in the game and Kratos; his presence and his actions have changed the course of prophecies. Kratos does not know it yet just like how Atreus has no idea that the world serpent is one of his offsprings. Kratos would eventually become a good "God of War" just as how Mimir tells of Tyr being loved by all as Tyr shares his knowledge with people beyond the Norse realms. Some parallels are seen in Kratos wanting be a better God and having made the decision to give "hope" to the world instead of handing it to Athena at the ending of GOW3. In some ways which will be revealed in the sequels, Kratos will end up fulfilling the role of Tyr in aiding the Giants against Odin. I also think that Kratos after all the time travelling and changing history (+ fulfilling prophecies) is the one who will bring the wine and pot from Greece and place it in Tyr's vault. He just does not know it yet. Lastly, I believe Kratos to be the immortal God of War as it gives credibility to the ending of GOW1 where it tells of Kratos keeping a ever watchful eye whenever men fought wars.

I dont know witch mithology is older but i think that Kratos didnt lose his god powers, because he can still heal himself, like in the begining of the game, first battle with Baldur. I think he healed himself and used the faiths magic to go back thru time, before all the titan and god war in greece, he will take Atreus to Greece when the war starts, so he can stop it. Is it possible Atreius will pick up the blades of chaos and use them against Kratos? In a blind rage like Kratos has had, and what we say in an encounter with Baldur? Something happens to make Atreius go against Kratos, maybe a trick by Odin, Atreius severs Kratos right arm, or turns the blades in to Fenrir?

If Kratos was immortality it's mean that in the GOW 2 Kratos doesn't need gaia power to bring him back to life after getting stabbed by zeus. He can just climb from underworld and reach surface. Am I right cap kuba?

Kratos is wielding the blades of Athena...not the blades of chaos, his blades during the fight are golden and if you remember during the start of God of War 2 the blades of Athena were golden

The Blades of Chaos is not the same as the Blades of Athena They are two different blades!!!!!!!! The reason why he got the BOA (Blades of Athena) because the BOC (Blades of Chaos) was ripped from his arms. Your first theory on the BOC might be correct.

Kratos can't die for the same reason the gods he kills can't just go to Valhalla and come back. He IS death. Not "the god of death". He is the Primordial force of death. When he kills you, it's for real. And he has to be, so he cannot die

Dear Kaptain Kuba, I posted a few theories on your video that discussed the Top 5 God of War theories by your subscribers a few weeks back. It was pointed out to me that at least one of my theories, the one about Atreus/Loki turning on his father specifically, may have been ripped off from another video. I believe the video they are referring to is one by the channel GamingBolt. I truly do not remember if I watched that video before writing the theory in your comments section. You had mentioned that you may do a video discussing the theory and said that you would give me a shout out if you did. Sounds good. I really liked this video too especially the part about the Blades of Chaos being returned to Kratos by Athena as a way to torment him further. It would also tie into the theory that the Blades of Chaos may have killed Faye. Knowing that Kratos had changed or was trying to change his ways. Choosing to live as a man as he put it. We know from the new GOW game that they do have magic (able to start fires in Hel and Brok saying that Kratos reeked for foreign magic after getting the blades) and perhaps part of that magic is that even being around the Blades for a period of time would cause a mortal to eventually die being that they were forged in the fires of Hades. Athena would probably know this, so not only would she bring back Blades of Chaos to torment Kratos with the memories attached to them, but it would also prevent him from being happy with anyone for too long. As they would succumb to the Blades' power before long.
