Mr. Piper, I know that you have a zeal for God, but it is not according to knowledge (Rom. 10:1-3). I would like an opportunity to share with you what is the correct message. The truth. The gospel. I hope that you find enough humility in yourself to reach out to me. There are so many inconsistencies in the Christian message that you preach. So let's talk and perhaps of God is willing, he will open your heart to understand(Acts 16:14, Luke 24:45). Now the reason why i quoted you Acts 16:14, is so you can see that Lydia was a "worshipper of God", and yet when apostle Paul preacshed to her, the Lord opened her heart. @@masimba5000 It is not a contradiction, it is a paradox. Because God calls us to pray, it is our duty, but it is still His choosing. God sometimes answers by saying No, or maybe, Later, for He knows what is best and He knows all our hearts. Maybe, Piper's children will be saved in the future, maybe not, but it shows Piper's heart and perseverance in this situation. God is pleased with that and that is more the issue here, since we know that all will not be saved, but all the saved, will be prayerful.

ONLY THEN, will you will be saved)! And do not wait because you do not know when you will die (sit and think deeply about that. You have NO CLUE when you will die! Today could be your last day, tonight could be your last night. You can die in your sleep or even in the next hour!) I want you to realize how urgent and important it is to have Jesus! But if you have Jesus, you will NEVER have to worry! You won’t have to worry about school, family problems, life, or EVEN DEATH because you will have the LORD your GOD, RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE, EVERY SINGLE DAY, EVERY SINGLE HOUR, EVER SINGLE MINUTE and EVERY SINGLE SECOND of your life! GOD can help you through ANY challenge, through ANY hardship, and through ANY depressing time in your life! The bible. He intentionally uses those at the biggest disadvantage over and over because it displays His own power and majesty. Moses, who couldn't speak and had social anxiety was chosen to lead God's people. David, the youngest of all his brothers and least in the family was chosen to be king. Gideon was told to lower the numbers in the army he would lead over and over until it was ridiculously small. Daniel in the lion's den. And in the new testament, God used a bunch of young fishermen to teach even the religious leaders. It's what God does

Notice Jesus shouted out again in Mark and Matthew well John 19/30 So when Jesus received the vinegar, he said, 'It has been finished.' Notice when he received the vinegar remember people yelled let him be leave him alone Let's see if Elijah will save him, Jesus was still shouting out psalm 22 then he Let's out another shout to let out his last breath which he went on for awhile before he finally received the vinegar and said it is finished, which was the last verse of psalm 22 Matthew 17/11 And in answer, Jesus said to them, 'Elijah does indeed come first, and he will restore all things. ' Peter didn't know what he was saying because it was a vision of future kingdom and God put his words in Peter's mouth kinda makes you wonder wonder if the voice out of the cloud was speaking about Jesus or Elijah? People did hear same words when Jesus was Baptized ..... John 12/28 Father, glorify Your name.' Then a voice came out of Heaven: 'I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.' Luke 18/42 And Jesus said to him, 'Receive sight. Your faith has healed you.' 43 And instantly he received his sight, and he followed him, glorifying God. And all the people saw and gave praise to God.

Just a word......God isn’t the cause of this covid19, it’s mans disobedience and bad habits, corruption, or whatever, it’s not Him that’s the problem it’s mankind. No, God caused it, for He causes all things. Disobedient ancient Israel was a model of how God chastises nations that turn away from Him. Today, virtually all nations of the world are not following in the ways of God. Mankind is the problem, but God calls all people to faith and repentance. See Psalm 2:1-5, it is prophetic for our times as well as it was for nations in the past.

By today's standards Elijah would have been considered a terrorist. The challenge of reading his story in the Bible, is do we really understand what we read about or even preach about. How many flaunt this man, yet go on to condemn ISIS? Or perhaps we need God as a metric. But then is that not the appeal of ISIS? Allah is their metric. But then Elijah was righteous for one simple reason as someone said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" (1-Kings 19: 9), and that person was: JHWH Himself. Ultimately we are only righteous because it is He who speaks to us, and we respond with trust in what He says.

Confessing Jesus as Lord is not a magic formula (Matthews 7: 21), it is the knowledge of God Himself (John 17: 3). If we hear His Word and respond positively then we are saved, (Psalm 27: 8, Revelation 3: 20), and are declared righteous (Genesis 15: 6). Salvation comes through dialogue with God, by hearing his living Word who is Christ. Now as the man Jesus has been revealed then there is the command (Acts 17: 30-31) that His name should be declared, and those who hear His name and know His voice are saved. However, not all have heard His name, yet are still saved as they know His voice in Spirit, yet many have heard his name in the mind, but still do not know who He is as it takes the Petrine confession to know who He truly is as revealed by the Spirit (Matthew 16: 17-19).

There were many other commandments, the Pharisees came up with, that are Not valid..but the Phaisees were holding the people to..all their stupid little rules (like washing the cups..an example..there are many others) those are invalid rules of the Pharisees..they were teaching for doctrine there own stupid rules and holding the people accountable. Jesus Came and Corrected them. And gave us His Commandments. They are complete in the Gospel of Matthew chapters 5 6 7. It is the complete plan of Salvation. Jesus said.."Obey my Commandments and Trust Me and you will go to Heaven." it is Not too high to understand. Jesus wants to Help us..why would He make things higher than we can understand? He Not trying to hide something or trick us. He gave us His commandments to Help us and they are plain as day in the very first pages of your NT. why do you people make this so difficult? Covet Not..is an original commandment given to the Isrealites in the OT. That is a Valid commandment. Jesus repeated the same commandment in His Sermon on the Mount. Here is my basic problem with this systematic. We have to declare or know that we are sinners in order for truth to be present and the gospel to be in our hearts. Please do not say compatibilism, that is declared by your own scholars to mean God is the intender of sin, just that he does it hypocritically through you.. In doing this you have never truly confessed yourself a sinner, a true sinner, apart from God.. On this line you declare sovereignty,((Again,, there is no such word in scripture,)) and it would not be possible to ascribe sin and Satan to God seeing as there is nothing creative in them. God simply could not have ordained them,, but through love created man free to choose.. My dear friends if you do not confess yourself as the soul author of your sin. you may not be a Christian,,,,Was it God when the two Calvanist kids came out of class with absolute glee and freedom, and with all joy declared their relief that God was to blame for sin, or was that simply a demon connected to the stoic religion. You must decide, because you have placed yourself a teacher, and can only answer to this gospel.

What I mean is your dog forknows he will get fed when he hears the bowl rustle. Does this mean under your understanding that the dog predestined to be fed, or made the food. Predestination and foreknoledge are two so extreemy different things, it takes exteem esoteric twisting to make them the same thing. God does not predestined evil, or your life. He has a set plan to overcome evil and a plan for your life. You can accept his help and comfort or disregard it. The answer is, both predestination and free will are correct, because both are taught in the Bible. Even John MacArthur has arrived at this in later sermons (he is...or was, a pretty staunch Calvinist). the Bible clearly teaches both are true. How do we reconcile them? We don't. We let God figure it out because it's His problem. Both positions let God be sovereign while still still putting responsibility on man for his choices.

kathleen Wharton why is he big on wrath? What's his motivation? I would like to suggest that God is not big on wrath, but big on holiness. He says, "Be holy because I am holy". The OT laws are not men's laws, but God's laws to direct us to living a holy life. But we know that we can't live a holy life , that Paul says it was through the law that we become aware of our sin. And through the awareness of sin we look to Jesus as the atonement for our sin. God sent his son, not to correct misunderstandings of an OT God, but to reconcile sinners to himself. Is God big on wrath? No, his wrath is the response a holy God directs to sinful humanity.
