Yeah can't really respect critiques if you've only seen a couple monsterverse movies, they say godzilla's gone MCU but he's actually just going Showa era again, though technically all the old Toho movies had fun doing stuff with godzilla through to the Millenium era. The Reiwa era is where they like going about it in serious tones, though I fear that can get boring especially after Minus One basically made the ultimate modern solo godzilla movie
