Kong would be agile reletive to his size. He'd look slow to us but standing as tall as them he'd look pretty agile and fast. Godzilla at least should be slow. He shouldn't be able to crawl and he shouldn't be able to run nearly as fast as Kong. The truth is that yes he weighs more but how he is proportioned where his legs are giant and than as you go up his body it gets smaller which means that he would be incredibly slow. I'm not being a godzilla hater I'm just putting not alot but at least a tiny bit of realism in the equation. Now let's talk about Kong. He's shaped like primates we know today which means he's more or less proportioned for agile movements. He would look slow to us cause we're so small but if we grew to Kong or Godzillas height than Kong would look and be a lot faster and agile than godzilla. Kong should also be alot smarter than godzilla. Look at how reptiles and primates think. One thinks with instinct and the other thinks with Intuition. I know in this movie Kong is smarter than godzilla but he shouldn't just be smarter than godzilla, he should be a lot smarter than godzilla. Godzilla on the other hand would have to rely on a total of 4 things. His tail, atomic breath, bite and instinct. Now all of those could get godzilla a win a good amount of times but then when you see what Kong should have over godzilla which is his brains by a long shot, agility, speed, and punching force then you can start to make an argument for Kong. A gorilla being sized up to 106m would be able have a punching force of over 500,000 tons. Thats tripled godzillas weight. All I'm saying at the end of the day is that Kong should win In my opinion.

Entering on this topic, i want to say something:Mechagodzilla would be like Doomsday in BvS, he would make both protagonists (monke and reptile) stop their battle, and Mothra appaering would be like wonder woman,(if she returned) i can imagine the scene: Mechagodzilla rises and beat kong and godzilla, and when he is about to kill one of them, mothra appears and defend them, and then, kong would look godzilla with a face like "is she with you?" @@shyarusu7755 Godzilla doesn’t need a weapon to stand a chance against opponents stronger than him while you also have to take into consideration king ghidora did get amped which took Godzilla getting a amp himself to ultimately curve stink king ghidora off the face of the planet. Neither of the kaiju’s used weapons when their own attacks are already much more powerful than any weapon could be if they had it in their arsenal. For example if King ghidora for example had a shield or any weapon that kong was shown in the trailers to have it wouldn’t have been anywhere close to effective as his attacks not to mention the sheer amount of energy he radiated and was outputting. Same for Godzilla even with the very small arms he had, his slashes with them were incredibly powerful when I believe chuck pointing out in a comic issue or something that one swipe took the head off of the female muto. Kong on the other hand mandatorily needs weapons to give him a chance against Godzilla due to him not having enough durability or any of the unique durability traits that the other kaiju’s have. His main advantage would probably be his intelligence and the fact he has a long reach with his arms not to mention him being able to grasp weapons with them. Yet when it came to a small scene between the two even in hand to hand a full power punch from kong didn’t even budge Godzilla much while Godzilla’s knocked him down on his back. The only way imo for kong to stand a chance is if they nerf Godzilla for the movie purposes so that it’ll be a actual fight.

You also ignored my biggest claim that the kaijus have shown to have incredibly high durability on top of their attacks being far stronger than anything kong could do. Godzilla also doesn’t rely on his atomic breathe majority of the time it’s the finisher to his battle while he has shown strength far stronger than kong despite having much smaller arms while kong durability isn’t anywhere close to Godzilla’s who has incredibly thick and high durability plating. While kong only has skin and fur and was screaming from being burned while Godzilla has literally survived a meteor strike not to mention king ghidora’s energy output and radiation which as shown and stated by chuck in the video was stronger than any weapon or attack which he compared it to the meteor strike which as shown during the trailer Godzilla in hand to hand combat literally knocked kong onto his back while a full power punch from kong barely made Godzilla budge. Kong had to resort to weapons as well as things around him to use as a shield(based off of the trailer where he blocked Godzilla’s atomic breathe) to even stand a chance against Godzilla. Godzilla hands down is stronger, while kong own aresenal literally gets mopped by Godzilla. But you also ignoring the fact that Godzilla only needed the amp affer kong ghidora got amped(1x-2x) is bias when you’re pointing that out while leaving the context of the events leading up to that point yet feats for both show Godzilla’s superiority over kong while the only way this would even be a fight is if they nerfed or dumbed down Godzilla’s power to make it a actual fight between the two instead of a one sided curve stomp.

Megagueras is a flying creature and is able to move so fast you are unable to even see him when moving. Yet, Godzilla caught him out of the air and torched him.

Showa would beat Legendary since he tanked more stronger attacks, is more durable, and has better speed than Legendary (via Showa King Ghidorah since he turned Jupiter into a literal dust planet within a day and was stated to have already lay ruin to other planets prior, was capable of running towards Mecha Godzilla and Titanosaurs while being able to tank an onslaught barrage of energy attacks and armor piercing missiles). Heisei would beat Earth since his cells low-key tanked a literal blackhole and was able to tank multiple shots from Destoroyah's oxygen beam.

Kong would be agile reletive to his size. He'd look slow to us but standing as tall as them he'd look pretty agile and fast. Godzilla at least should be slow. He shouldn't be able to crawl and he shouldn't be able to run nearly as fast as Kong. The truth is that yes he weighs more but how he is proportioned where his legs are giant and than as you go up his body it gets smaller which means that he would be incredibly slow. I'm not being a godzilla hater I'm just putting not alot but at least a tiny bit of realism in the equation. Now let's talk about Kong. He's shaped like primates we know today which means he's more or less proportioned for agile movements. He would look slow to us cause we're so small but if we grew to Kong or Godzillas height than Kong would look and be a lot faster and agile than godzilla. Kong should also be alot smarter than godzilla. Look at how reptiles and primates think. One thinks with instinct and the other thinks with Intuition. I know in this movie Kong is smarter than godzilla but he shouldn't just be smarter than godzilla, he should be a lot smarter than godzilla. Godzilla on the other hand would have to rely on a total of 4 things. His tail, atomic breath, bite and instinct. Now all of those could get godzilla a win a good amount of times but then when you see what Kong should have over godzilla which is his brains by a long shot, agility, speed, and punching force then you can start to make an argument for Kong. A gorilla being sized up to 106m would be able have a punching force of over 500,000 tons. Thats tripled godzillas weight. All I'm saying at the end of the day is that Kong should win In my opinion.

Not nearly strong enough. *Godzilla has survived attacks way more damaging than what Kong could imagine to even do.* Godzilla has survived a planet destroying meteor to the face and wasn't even phased. He survived a volcano. And guess what? He was completely fine. Oh yeah! Godzilla has also survived a *FREAKING BLACK WHOLE.....TWICE!* So yeah there is nothing Kong could do to actually hurt him. Oh and what if Kong has lightning? Well guess what? Godzilla can absorb lightning bolts like a metal rod, only *EMPOWERING* Godzilla in the process. There is *NOTHING* Kong can do, and no way Kong can win. But let's say Kong does by the miracle of *GOD* damage/ cut Godzilla. Guess again! Godzilla has regenerative cells that heal almost instantly when actually damaged. I didn't even mention what Godzilla could do to Kong. Godzilla's regular atomic breath could clap Kong. Let alone his empowered atomic beam. His red beam destroys anything on contact that killed villains like Space Godzilla and Destroya (who are some of the strongest Kaiju out there. Kong wouldn't even have a second to breath against them.) Godzilla also has the ability to turn himself into magnetic source and use metal to protect him or attacks from others. Godzilla can also shoot out radioactive pulses if Kong chooses to get close. I didn't even mention Godzilla being underwater, his teeth that can bite through practically anything, claws, and his tail that can sweep anybody in existence. Godzilla beats every single thing that looks like an "advantage" to Kong. Why do you think they constantly give King an extra weapon, ability, increased size, and nerf Godzilla? By giving Kong these extra "advantages* they are already establishing the fact the Godzilla is *already stronger!* There is *NOTHING* Kong can Do.

I've always pondered over which Titan would win, both before and after their Monsterverse counterparts were made on the big screen. If we were to take the King Kong of modern day before Skull Island, there would be no competition. Godzilla's latest incarnation would be the one from Final Wars, which was able to smack down so many other Kaiju so easily that he barely took damage throughout the whole movie. The only one to give him trouble was Monster X, and later Keizer Ghidorah, but even after just a little boost from the humans, Godzilla was able to win out against the ultimate form of Ghidorah at the time. In the modern day Monsterverse, there is still no competition. Even with the axe, Godzilla's strength can allow him to withstand a few strikes from his own dorsal fin. Not to mention, Godzilla sent his atomic radiation into the ace, so when Kong hits him with it, it's possible that he's just feeding that energy back. All in all, with this and evidence of Godzilla's capabilities in prior films, he has the clear advantage as the alpha predator of the Titan Kingdom. I vote Godzilla as the winner before they introduce Mechagodzilla.

Feat wise, Godzilla in my opinion wins. I'm not going to spoil the movie, but I will say Godzilla will more likely win at least since Godzillas stamina for one is crazy high as well. Godzilla has been chasing the male muto to day and night without any rest in 2014. Also, even though Godzilla's atomic breath in 2014 was nerfed according to the light novel of 2014, Godzilla's atomic breath was still considerably powerful as it was able to stun an adolescent female muto for a whole minute while it gave Godzilla the fighting chance against the adolescent Male muto without having to be teamed up, while also arguably being fatigued too. The reason for that as Godzillas atomic breath could also be weakened from being fatigued too as in Kotm, Godzilla atomic breath was stated to show how powerful it can be based on if Godzilla was fatigued or not or if Godzilla was healthy, meaning Godzillas atomic breath is even more powerful than what we actually thought his atomic breath would be. Also intelligence. I think a lot of people downplayed Godzilla's intelligence because he doesn't share the same type of emotion as Kong or communicate with humans using sign language, or have the ability to make tools because Kong has an opposable thumb like us which is something Godzilla doesn't possess, but that doesn't mean Godzilla isn't dumb. When Godzilla looked at Mark Russel, they both nodded at each in Kotm meaning they won't have dumb beef with each other again and have their beef put it aside all because Godzilla accidentally killed Mark Russells son and both agreed to kill Ghidorah. Godzilla is also a fighting prodigy and a fighting genius. When fighting the male muto, Godzilla predicted when to use his tail as he slams his tail on to the male muto to the building as he Godzilla figured out what was the Male muto's attack patterns. Another thing is experience as well. Even though the muto prime was strong and was the root to killing the Godzilla species even though the author states there's more than 1 muto prime, according to the author of the comics of Godzilla After shock author, he states that Godzilla was actually physically "stronger" than the muto prime, even when the muto prime reached full strength after running away from Godzilla several times due to Muto prime hibernating for so long, so she was actually weakened. Even though the muto prime was physically weaker than Godzilla who was able to cause tectonic plates with its own little arms which is a quintillion ton of force which is heavily impressive for Godzilla strength wise and durability wise, Muto prime uses the sonic roar which also according to the author, it was a counter to the Godzillas species as the mutos were evolved to hunt down and counter Godzilla's. The only difference was that the muto primes purpose was to lay it's eggs on to any titans that have tons of radiation meaning that even if the muto prime was successful in putting it's eggs into Godzilla, Godzilla would've still gotten up and lifted the muto prime and using his nuclear pulse to kill the muto prime, only difference would be that Godzilla would've eventually shared the same fate as Dagon. As for Ghidorah too, Godzilla literally throws around Ghidorah's whole body weight like it was a 20 pound ball. Godzilla has a lot of experience compared to this because unlike Kong, Godzilla knows any titans weakness and fighting patterns and Godzilla will take the advantage of doing that, which is something Kong doesn't although that might be different if you have read the graphic Novelization of when an adult Kong has fought a camazotz which he successfully kills once Kong figures out how he can kill it, but unlike Kong, Godzilla has way more experience when it comes to fighting titans who can fly as even Kong struggled with the camazotz a lot more. Even though in overall intelligence, Kong is slightly more intelligent due to being able communicate, use problem solving skills better than Godzilla as Kong figures out he's in a hologram, and also being able to use tools as weapons. Another thing too according to the director himself before the movie even comes out, so spoilers The director says and I quote "in the aircraft carrier fight, Kong fights Godzilla, but he's at a severe disadvantage because Kong is fighting in Godzilla's turf, and Kong is even at a more disadvantage because Godzilla is *physically stronger than Kong and weighs way more than Kong as Godzilla is 164,000 tons*."

He shouldn't be able to crawl and he shouldn't be able to run nearly as fast as Kong. The truth is that yes he weighs more but how he is proportioned where his legs are giant and than as you go up his body it gets smaller which means that he would be incredibly slow. Godzilla on the other hand would have to rely on a total of 4 things. His tail, atomic breath, bite and instinct. Now all of those could get godzilla a win a good amount of times but then when you see what Kong should have over godzilla which is his brains by a long shot, agility, speed, and punching force then you can start to make an argument for Kong. A gorilla being sized up to 106m would be able have a punching force of over 500,000 tons. Thats tripled godzillas weight. All I'm saying at the end of the day is that Kong should win In my opinion.

@@Beebooks23 if Kong deserves to win, Kong would've had better strength feats over Godzilla especially if Kong fought titans bigger and heavier than him. If Kong did do that, I would've given Kong a benefit without a Doubt. Keep in mind, this iteration of Kong isn't like actual Gorillas, so his strength in the monsteverse is a lot more limited especially when having a hard time against a skull crawler his size in a 1v1 and a camazotz.

@@Beebooks23 Dude Godzilla has Durability, Strength, Battle Experience, he has battled stronger foes than kong, and Kong logically would get destroyed by Godzilla’s atomic breath. It’s been confirmed it’s hotter than the surface of the sun. It wouldn’t even have to hit kong for him to get severe burns, Godzilla also has more durability. We saw in the trailer a jet hits Godzilla in his tail. At that speed that jet probably hit Godzilla with over 10,000 tons of force, THAT IS A LOT OF FORCE AND GODZILLA TAKES IT LIKE A CHAMP. meanwhile kongs getting cut by helicopter blades. and not to mention Godzilla’s tail. That thing killed the muto, knocked over Ghidorah, and it gives him balance so kong can’t knock him over with his punches this was seen in the Japanese trailer, where Kong punched Godzilla and Godzilla steps back a little, then when Godzilla hits kong, that monkey went flying. Dudes got atomic pulse which was used in Godzilla after Shock (Prequel Comic) Godzilla has survived nukes and a fall from the sky, meanwhile kong is getting cut by helicopter blades (like I said before). Also I would say Godzilla is as tactical as kong, we saw when the muto was flying around Godzilla and Godzilla was tracking the mutos movements and then tail wiped the muto, this could happen to kong and we know kongs faster so Godzilla could also track kongs movements. Also we saw at the end of the trailer Godzilla was standing in a more stable position so he can balance better., learning from his mistakes when Kong punched him earlier. Godzilla also weighs over 100,000 tons so that is an huge advantage. And kongs axe isn’t going to do a thing, we see in the trailer they fight till daylight in Hong Kong so that axe didn’t kill Godzilla. This is basically a Armoured knight with a flamethrower vs a wrestler, Kong has no chance, LOGICALLY. Also kong gets a lot more angry, this may seem like an advantage however, when a person or thing gets angry they don’t think, let’s say Godzilla kills the little girl (Gia) on accident. Kong will let his emotions get to him and will probably get killed in the process. Godzilla is an ancient alpha predator for a reason. However kong does have plot armour and will probably win in the movie. I’m just saying logically Godzilla would win.

SPOILERS The whole movie didn’t make too much sense when it came to the fights. Godzilla would’ve killed him in the water, but that the same time kong would’ve took his head in Hong Kong with that axe hit directly to the face.

You could argue that the axe travelled through GZ's beam the entire time therefore would have struck the source and dispersed the energy, hence why Kong was also thrown backwards after it struck. But there's no excuse for the water fight other than plot purposes
