There are SO MANY scenes where the monsters are on screen and you can make up your own dialogue for them. I love how expressive they made the Titans in this unlike a certain big budget film made by Disney involving animals..

Godzilla appears almost identically in this movie as much as he does in all of the movies from the franchise, he's not in much of them either but the moments where he is matter, as a Godzilla fan that's what makes Godzilla movies to me, highly doubt you'll be disappointed except for maybe the ending as this video States the movie does feel like at the very end they could have added 15 minutes to the run time to really flush out the ending battle, highly recommend

Honestly, I think Godzilla was a beast in this film. Like I really enjoyed him. They really showed why he was the king. He was agro the whole movie and didn’t lose. I think that was the big thing for me is that he cooked hard and dropped so many titans. It was dope.

This movie was ridiculous and stupid. I loved every second of it. Although, as a godzilla fannoy more than a kong Stan, I do wish that at the very least the Goji fights would've been a bit longer. I know that the film makers either don't know how, or haven't figured out how to make the audience... emote? With Goji, but it's ok. I loved the movie.

This was big budget Showa, and I'm all for it. Some moments were hilarious, and the surprise kaiju was very welcome. Wish there was more of Godzilla, and I agree it didn't stick the landing as well as I hoped, but I still had a great time with it.

Glad you liked the film. This was a very fun movie, just saw it this wednesday. I was spoiled online, but I was very happy to see Mothra come back and still live at the end of the story. I wasn't surprised to see that there wasn't a post-credit scene, but I read online that Wingard is open to the idea of making it a trilogy. Despite their flaws, I have enjoyed all Monsterverse movies. I can't wait to get this one and Minus One on DVD.

I loved it. Definitely agree with the ending, it didn't hold up to the rest of the film, but it was still good enough not to have me walk away from the cinema disappointed. I'm actually quite glad that Godzilla was used sparingly, since I feel like he's best used like that. Have him shine bright in specific key moments, just to make his impact feel that much more satisfying to see.

I really liked it. One problem I had with it was that the end fight just feels rushed and not much really happens in it. There's no real danger when everything is solved fast, and the monsters don't really get to shine.

Saw this movie last night and the only thing that actually bugged me about the movie was the convenience of the B.E.A.S.T. glove happening to be close by with magical healing juice. Other than that, this movie was a massive banger. Godzilla one shotting fools was sooooo cool to see, and I really wish we got more of it.

I think the beast glove being near them was justified when they said that the government shut down the operation, so they needed somewhere to hide the equipment they made from the operation, which, in my opinion, the hollow earth outpost made sense since the government can't even go there yet. As for the healing juice thing, trapper is vet, so you'd think he'd add some form of anesthetic with healing properties since he mentioned (or i think he did), that the beast glove was only to be used in dire situations and kong getting whooped seems dire to me. That's just my take on the whole beast glove issue

I really feel like they just add Godzilla name to the title to bring people. When it should just be named Kong The New Empire. And then like have Godzilla appear in the background cause it's a shared world, to build up to the end of the movie. Cause it really doesn't feel like a Godzilla and Kong movie. Godzilla v Kong did at least feel like a movie for both.

Small spoiler: Even though I enjoyed this movie as much as the rest, I have to say that the stakes didn't feel as intense as before. Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla both had all the heroes on the ropes, but after Kong got his mechanical arm and Godzilla evolved, nothing in the film was really able to overwhelm them.

This film further showed how utterly pointless the Monarch show was. It spent the series showing that time in Hollow Earth runs at a very different rate to the surface, the that was just completely thrown away in these films. The film was fun though. I really like Godzillas new bed.

My local theatre close down which meant I had to travel to the closest AMC by 1 hour bus ride. The film was pretty good, but not $18 good. Also (spacing for spoilers) I wish we had gotten a beam struggle between Godzilla and Shemu. We had one in the last movie where my lizard lost, and I would’ve liked to see him come out on top in this one. If we get a third one, I really hope the big bad is a kaiju with a beam attack so that can happen

Not even a minute in and there's already a misunderstanding with the movie. Godzilla ain't killing any titan that shows up, he's dealing with those that have been insubordinate to him, given that in previous comics pre-GxK, both Scylla and Tiamat have gone against Godzilla and kept defying him as 'The King of The Monsters' and Godzilla just had enough of their shit. That's why he attacked Kong cuz he believed that despite their agreement, it wouldve looked like Kong was also going against him again

Watched it today thoroughly enjoyed it my only issue with the movie was that they could have made the movie longer in my opinion to drag out the ending for a longer and more satisfying end fight, but thoroughly enjoyed as well as my entire family, it amazes me that all the haters on KZbin slamming the movie already are so out of touch with their own audience. Cant wait for next movie 🍿 Godzillas mine and my kids favorite but movie wasnt laking in his content in our opinion most of his movies he takes this roll as moving like a tidal wave in the background till the final build up, thats alot of the charm.

Another thing, I think they forgot that Mothra existed on the surface world and was already introduced in King of the Monsters. In this movie Mothra was all of a sudden cocooned inside the sub surface of Hollow Earth and there was a new design for her as well.

That tracks with King of the Monsters though, the original Mothra sacrificed herself to give Godzilla more energy, and in the mid-credits scene, it's implied a second Mothra (or at least the same species) egg has been discovered.

Saw the movie last night. It wasn’t bad, had fun. Tho i did have a problem with the human scenes because the monster scenes were so good. Also there are multiple moments where they break their own logic, so you just watch the movie like “sure whatever”. Not to mention the disregard for human life is hilarious. One thing I enjoy this movie for is less humans and more focus on the Titans. Of course, the humans have to be around to take the plot from point A to point B, but I'm glad there's also scenes dedicated to both Kong and Godzilla, especially Kong. Off the bat, I'm gonna say this is a stupid movie but it's also good. I would compare it to Pacific Rim. It's not much to write about but we all know what we watch all these movies for. No surprise people will be whining about it. especially after the release of Minus One. But here's the thing, Godzilla has been known for many things throughout the years and we're now in an era when they embraced these different sides of Godzilla through various media. From the all out monster brawl from the Monsterverse, to the more experimental ones from Japan like Minus One and Shin Godzilla. And I like them.

Thank you for the review. I just got back from seeing it myself. I had a good time. I will say, I think this was my least favorite of the Monsterverse movies. I think it was poorly written and they were just RACING to get to the parts of the story they wanted to tell. Let it be known, I am Team Godzilla and so yeah. Not enough of my big dragon boi. The action was fantastic though. I wish I had seen more of the fight with Godzilla and the kaiju in the Arctic, but again, that wasn't the part of the story they cared about. I want to also give a shout out to another favorite kaiju in the movie, but I don't want to spoil it. Anyway, I agree with a B rating. Solid enough movie

My biggest criticizm about the movie is its music, it is way too bombastic for example Mothra’s awakening Suko jumping to the portal to grab Kong’s axe And everytime Godzilla does something we hear the same notes over and over again, i get that its his knock off leitmotif but when its done with loud ass instruments it becomes boring especially the chorus, my god they overused the chorus.

I liked the movie, but I thought that Godzilla was somewhat out of character in this movie. In both of the previous movies, they go out of their way to say (and show) that Godzilla doesn't actually want to kill other kaiju, unless they're irredeemable, like Ghidorah. So why does Godzilla immediately go for the kill with Tiamat and then again with Kong? Especially since he'd made a truce with Kong in the previous movie. One of the major points of the movies is that Godzilla is absolutely NOT a mindless beast, so when Kong showed up and immediately made placating gestures instead of trying to fight, it was disappointing to see Godzilla immediately attack him.

Not really out of character, in the prequel graphic novels, both Tiamat and Scylla have caused trouble despite under Godzilla’s rule. Plus, Godzilla already killed the Mutos. And the reason why he attempted to kill Kong… He broke the truce…

If not, why not sit further back to see everything without shifting your head back and forth? ____________________ Kong’s journey felt a bit like the Last of Us meets God of War, Ragnarok. Part of me is glad the original family from King of the Monsters wasn’t brought back in the film, because a third movie with them was asking for unneeded hate from the fans. Godzilla’s journey felt like Pinkie Pie during the Parasprites episode of MLP:FiM. Team Kong or Team Godzilla? I’m Team…WORK!! (Sorrynotsorry, CinemaWins joke.) In my opinion, it was okay. The story could've been better, there are some questionable moments and details, and the human characters are a mixed bag, and I can see why critics didn't like it, but at least the movie is entertaining with its creatures, and the Titans are still treated like animals instead of monsters.

These are becoming Kong movies that just have Godzilla in them. Also they seem to be going in the route of the fox X-Men movies when it concerns continuity. There are parts of the movie I really enjoyed. But has a movie I was disappointed.

Overall I liked the movie, but as a Godzilla fan I am disappointed that both G vs K and G x K are Kong movies that just so happen to have a little bit of Godzilla. Big G hasn't really been the focus since 2019 and that is disappointing

I loved the movie! Watched it twice to packed theater! Whats weird is the snotty critics did not really like this movie but loved minus 1 yet the person responsible for minus 1 enjoyed GxK. Goes to show how biased US critics are. My favorite movie in the monsterverse!

Its a Kong movie, Godzilla was only written in the movie to sell tickets.
